Aqua Tone
Offered in the swimming pool, this low impact class is an ideal way to improve fitness and muscle tone in a fun invigorating way. This class is ideal for all fitness levels. Why not treat yourself to some workout mitts for that extra upper body workout.
Body Attack â
An intense (with low impact options) cardio workout for building strength and stamina. This high-energy interval training class combines athletic aerobic movements with strength and stabilization exercises.
Body Balance â
Is the yoga, tai chi, Pilate’s workout that builds flexibility and strength and leaves you feeling centred and calm. Controlled breathing, concentration and a carefully structured series of stretches, moves and poses to music create a holistic workout..
Body Combat â
A combination of moves and stances from a range of self-defence disciplines like karate, boxing and tae-wan-do. Upbeat music and choreographed moves make this hour-long energetic routine raising fitness levels throughout the whole body.
Body Jam â
With as much emphasis on having fun as breaking a sweat Body Jamâ is an addictive fusion of dance and aerobic moves. The blend includes the latest sounds of hip-hop, funk and Latin music together with the coolest sounds currently topping the charts.
Body Pump â
A fantastic class using barbells and adjustable weights to tone and condition muscles while raising metabolic rate for rapid fat burning. After an initial warm-up, all the major muscle groups are worked via a series of weight-bearing exercises including squats, presses and lifts.
Body Vive â
Body Vive is the low-impact, whole body group fitness workout that uses Viveä balls, Viveä tubes and body weight to boost fitness and core strength. It’s ideal for those new to group fitness, those returning to exercise or rehabilitating after injury, pre and postnatal mothers and active adults who want the benefits of improved cardio fitness, strength and flexibility.
Circuits
A workout involving timed cardio and strength exercises to a level that suits you. Tones, strengths, burns fat and is a high energy group fitness class
CX WorX â
A short, sharp workout that’ll inspire you to the next level of fitness while strengthening and toning your body, with particular focus on your abs and core strength.
Pilates
Incorporates simultaneous stretching and strengthening moves, focussing on core muscles, improving body alignment and increasing body awareness.
Rise and shine
Triple challenge format led by an instructor. Exercises are completed on 3 different cardio machines – 10 minutes per machine.
Step
A cardiovascular workout with a difference. A variable intensity workout using step choreography and step block. Designed to increase fitness levels and burn calories. It is also great for toning the lower body.
Yoga
Yoga is a mind and body class aimed to improve flexibility, tone and posture. Emphasis on correct breathing leads to relaxation and sense of well-being.
Zumbaâ
Dance yourself fit! With Latin inspired music and a fun atmosphere this will without doubt get you fit and smiling.
Aqua Zumbaâ
Dance yourself fit with the support of the water. The Latin inspired moves in the pool will give you a great workout and you’ll have fun to too!
* Not included in membership. CXF is £2 for members/students
** Sh’bam will commence week commencing 8th October
*** For 4 weeks, then will be replaced by Body Attack
Classes must be cancelled before 9am on the day of the class or a £4/£2.90 charge will be incurred.
