A review of Jane Eyre
“But my spirit can address yours, as if both have passed through the grave and stood before heaven equal. “
The novel Jane Eyre follows the life of Jane Eyre from childhood through adolescence and adulthood. Jane is not a very lucky girl. Her parents passed away early and left her alone. Jane’s childhood is very hard. Her aunt didn’t like her and her cousins always looked down on her. Finally, they send Jane to a body school which was very poor. However, Jane didn’t give up. She tried her best to make friends with others and make them like her. The efforts paid off quickly, many people became friendly with Jane and gave their hands to Jane.
When Jane grown up, she left the school and earned money by herself. To her surprise, she got a job as a home teacher. There she stated her new life. Though there are also many problems that she had to solve.
The sentence at the beginning of this article is my favourite one. As it says, everyone’s spirit is equal. So no one have the ability to laugh at anyone. We should try our best to do something good for others and then others will also help us when we are in need of help. If so, the world will be a better one. In the other hand, we should learn to be generous. Actually someone hurt us, but we can choose whether forgive it or not. If we can not forgive other’s mistake and forget it, we are also hurting ourselves. Let’s learn to Jane, she can forgive her aunt and her cousins, and let her aunt passed away peacefully. At that time her aunt must be very thankful to her instead of dislike her or even hate her. This is the best way to solve, isn’t it?
