五.教学过程:
Step1 Warming-up
1. Review the text of Unit 1
2. Show some pictures to talk something about the pictures.
Step 2 Reading
1. Read through the email in Activity 1.
2. Put these places in the correct order.
3. Play the tape and ask the students to listen carefully.
4. Play the tape and have them read and follow.
Step 3 Do exercises
1. Check (√) the true sentences.
1) They arrived last Sunday.
2) They went for a walk in Hyde Park.
3) They bought lots of presents.
Step 4 Important and difficult points
1. hope to do sth. 希望做……
2. on holiday 在度假;在休假
3. go …by plane /on a plane = fly to … 乘飞机…… take a taxi 打的
4. go for a walk 去散步
5. do some shopping = go shopping 买东西;购物
6. didn't buy anything = bought nothing
7. come back to +地点= return to +地点 回到某地
8. say hello to sb. 向某人问好
Step 5 Exercise
1. Match these words with the words in the email.
2. Look at the pictures in Activity 5. Write a passage about Daming and Lingling's holiday.
3. Finish the exercise in the workbook Ex.6, 7, 8, 9&10
