Airport, a place that uncounted people come and go everyday. Have you ever thought if you have something important to do, but can't do it right now? Maybe you will feel worried and helpless. The Terminal tells a story about a man named Viktor Navorski (Tom Hanks acted) who comes from Krakozhia, was told that his motherland was at war. Soon, he became a person with no personality, he could neither enter into the America Border, nor return to his country, because of his unacceptable visa, therefore, he had to stay in the Kennedy International Airport until the war has stopped.
After seeing the movie, I was deeply impressed by Viktor. In order to achieve his father's last wish, all he could do was to wait, he was waiting a chance to leave. It is hard to image, a man knew little English, with no money, no food. How can he live, make friends, even love? Rely on a strong faith, Viktor did it! During his nine-month stay in the airport, he washed himself in toilet, slept in the lounge, and even found a job as a construction worker. Perhaps you will feel, he was a poor guy. But he had never given up. He earned money through his hands in order to feed himself, made friends with the airport staff. And he also met a beautiful airline stewardess named Amelia Warren (Catherine Zeta-Jones acted).
In my opinion, we must have a spirit like Viktor. I am also impressed by some splendid dialogue. Like: Amelia: "Are you coming or going?" Viktor Navorski: "I don't know. Both." From these sentences, we can see, Viktor was at sea. He didn't know what will happen next, but he has a strong willing, that is, he must fulfill his father's promise, go to New York to get the signature. And he got it finally! The most appeals to me, that's the "Life is waiting." Viktor was waiting to go to New York, waiting to achieve his father's last wish, waiting for peace.
After Viktor got the signature, he got on a taxi and said "I going home." Then he went on his way home with hope, promise, love and happiness. In short, The Terminal is a well worth seeing film.

There is no denying that the trend of calling is going to displace writing with the development of technology. The topic of “Is writing better than calling?” is becoming more and more recently. There are two sides of opinions about it. Opinions vary from individual to individual, from culture to culture. Even though writing and calling have something in common.
Some people say writing is their favorite. They hold their view for the reason of writing is the purest approach to express their emotion.. Compared with calling, Among the most convincing reasons given by people for writing. It is universally acknowledged that writing needs more energy. Imagining the scene that a person is writing a love letter to a lovely girl whom he is fall in love with in the dusky lighting. What a romantic thing it is to write every word by heart to the lover.
However, different people hold different views, in their opinions, wonderful as writing is romantic, however, it has its own disadvantages too. It is obvious that calling is more convenience than writing, nothing is more important than to send the massage as quick as we can in an information society. We must do our absolute best to pick up speed. So precious is time that we can’t afford to waste it.
It high time that we put considerable on this topic, important as our time is, the qualities of our living are by means satisfactory. It is apparent that writing as a vintage means of living still plays a vital role in our life. But there is no doubt that calling is in the ascendant, the public have their rights to use the method to deliver their information.
