Maslenitsa is an ancient celebration marking the return of spring. In Russia, people celebrate it for one week every year at the beginning of March. During the festival, people wear beautiful clothes hanging out on the streets. They make and eat tasty Russian blinis as well. In India, there is a famous festival called Holi. It is celebrated at the end of the winter season on the last full moon day of the lunar month, which usually falls in the late February or March.
