Ⅳ、Teaching steps:
1、Warming up（5’）
Use English to greeting with students. For example. What is the weather like today? It is a cloudy/windy/sunny/rainy day.将学生带入学习英语的氛围。
Revision the sentences and words last lesson we learned. Do you have a soccer ball? Does he/she have a soccer ball?
Let one or two pairs make a role-play for the new lesson. Try to speak English in class.
2、lead in (5’)
What is this? (Use PowerPoint show the pictures of foods)
Show some foods on the PowerPoint to attract the student’s attentions.
First, let them know what foods we are going to learn in the lesson. Then ask the students do they know how to say it in English. Let them discuss what are they like? And show the subject “Do you like bananas?”
3、New word study (10’)
Learn the new words use the game, show the picture of food and list the new word on the side of blackboard. Lead then to learn “Do you like bananas?”
Use the hamburgers, tomatoes, oranges to replace the word bananas.
Use the picture to attract the student’s interesting and learns it by them
Use the sentences He/she likes... Does he/she like... Yes, he/she does. No, he/she doesn’t. to replace the I like.... Do you like...? Do they like... and the answers.
4、Practice (20’)
Let students make a dialogue use the new sentence to ask the classmates what they like are and talk about the likes and dislikes. Or ask about they are eating in the lunch or usually.
Make a form for interview. Asking classmates what they likes or dislikes. And share the interview with others can add them conscious of success. Further more, it can revision the new lesson: words and sentences
5、Conclusions and Homework (5)
Revision the new words, bananas, hamburger, tomato… Etc.
Sentences: Do you like bananas? Yes, I do. /No, I don’t.
Remember the new words and practice the dialogues in the book. How talk about the foods. Make an investigation about your family and friends what they like and dislikes.
