High-qualified talents to be employed and terms of employment

1. Potential candidates and requirements
　　To meet the need of the development of the University, the high-qualified talents to be employed are classified into four levels according to their academic achievements or academic levels. The requirements for each level are respectively:
Level 1:
Academicians from the and Chinese Academy of Engineering

level 2:
1. Special-term professors of the Changjiang Scholars Program
2. Winners of National Science Found for Distinguished Young Scholars of China
3. Enlisted scientists for "Hundred Talents Program" of Chinese Academy of Science

Level 3:
1. Enlisted talents of State Class Persons of National Talents Engineering
2. Young and middle-aged experts with outstanding contribution to the country
3. successful candidates of New Century Excellent Researcher Award Program from Ministry of Education of China
4. Professors and tutorial supervisors of PhDs.

In principle, the candidates should not be more than 50 years old and should fulfill at least two of the following items.
(1) headed any key project supported by the Natural Science Foundation of China;
(2) headed any key project supported by the State Key Program for Basic Research and development of China (973)
(3) headed any key project supported by the State New and High technology development of China (863);
(4) headed any National Technology Support Project;
(5) headed any key project supported by the Social Science Foundation of China;
(6) headed other national key project;
(7) won National Prizes for Natural Science, Invention Awards or Prizes for Progress in Science and Technology (second prize or above ) as the first or the second researcher;
(8) ranked among the top five winners of national awards, the first in provincial and ministerial teaching or scientific awards and successful candidates for provincial and ministerial special-term experts, excellent experts and talents project;
(9) headed general programs supported by National Natural Science Foundation of China, key projects supported by provincial natural science foundation, or projects supported by National Social Science Foundation of China;
(10) published at least 4 SCI academic papers related to the discipline or 8 EI papers in science and engineering or at least 4 CSSCI (or) SCD papers and 3 SSCI papers in liberal arts as the first author;
(11) gained 2 national authorized invention patents or at least 4 utility-model patent licenses, computer software copyrights and so on as the first primary inventor and has put them into practice and produced remarkable achievements;
(12) published 1 monograph, textbook or translation as the chief editor via publishing houses of national level.
Other experts or scholars with the same academic level (to be identified by the university).

Level 4: post doctorates and PhDs
In principle, the candidates should not be more than 45 years old and should fulfill at least two of the following items in the latest 3 years:
(1) published at least 1 SCI academic paper related to the discipline or 2 EI papers or 3 ISTP papers in science and engineering or at least 1 CSSCI (or) SCD paper and 2 SSCI papers in liberal arts as the first author;
(2)gained 2 national authorized invention patents or at least utility-model patent licenses, computer software copyrights and so on as the first primary inventor and has put them into practice and produced remarkable achievements;
(3)headed at least 2 programs supported by the provi
