课堂教学设计 课题: Unit2 What time do you go to school? 授课时数: 1 课时 日期: 2014年 月 日 年级: 七年级 单位: 授课教师: 设计要素 设计内容 教学内容分析 1、In this period , mainly make the students use what time question and when question to ask about and say times. At the same time , use the target languages to make plans for own life and study, learn to deal with rest time. 教学目标 知识与技能 Master the words , phrases and sentence patterns: up, get up, dress, get dressed, brush, tooth (pl. teeth) brush teeth, shower, take a shower, usually, forty, fifty, wow, never, early, job, work, station, radio station, o'clock, funny, exercise ① —What time do you usually get up? —I usually get up at six thirty. ② —When do you go to work? —I usually go to work at eleven o'clock. ③ —He has an interesting job. —He works at a radio station. 过程与方法 Watch the pictures and present new knowledge , then listen ,work in pairs and finish some tasks ,act out the dialogue. 情感态度价值观 By learning this period, make the students form good rest time . 学情分析 In primary school ,the students have learned some phrases .It’s familiar for them to learn this period. 教学分析 教学重点 Master the expression of time and Learn to ask about and say times. 教学 难点 难点 When questions and what time questions 解决办法 Listen , work in pairs ,act 教学资源 Textbook, CAI 板书设计 Section A (1a-2d) Drills: 1. —What time do you usually get up? —I usually get up at six thirty? 2. —What time does Scott eat breakfast? —He eats breakfast at nine. 3. —When do you usually go to work? —I usually go to work at eight. 2a: two; two, one 2c: 5:50; 6:15; 6:30; 6:45 2d: ① At a radio station. ② From 12 at night to 6 in the morning. ③ At 8:30. ④ At nine. ⑤ At Eleven. 3 教学过程设计(第 1 课时) 教学环节 教师活动 学生活动 教学媒体 预期效果 Step 1 Warming-up and revision Step 2. Watch a short video program about daily activities. 1.Show some pictures : eg get up, go to school, run etc. Play the slides and guide the students to talk about these chores and learn these phrases. 2. show the pictures of 1a and guide the students to match the words and phrases with pictures.. Show a clock that can walk ,then adjust the time and ask : “What time is it” Explain the expression of time . 2. Adjust the clock to the certain time, then say:I get up at 6:00.I go to school at 6:45.etc;Then ask the students:What time do you get up? etc,guide the students to answer and present the key language goals。 1. Play the listening of 1b and let them listen .According to what they listened, match the time with activities. 2. Check the answers 1. Guide the students to work in pairs to practice oral, learn to use what time questions ;use the numbers to ask and express the time . 1. Make the students read the sentences of 2a ,then play the listening of 2a,guide the students to fill in the blanks. 2. Play 2a again and let the students listen , guide them to write the plan of Jim’s shower Check the answers: Guide the students to work in pairs to finish the tasks of 2c e.g. T: S1, what time do you usually get up in the morning? T: And what time do you eat breakfast? 1. Ask Ss to read the conversation in 2c. Then answer the questions below: ① Where does Scott work? ② What time is his radio show? ③ What time does he usually get up? ④ What time does he eat breakfast? ⑤ What time does he usually go to work? 2. Play the recording for the Ss to listen and repeat. Then let Ss work in pairs to practice reading the conversation. Then try to act it out. 3. Ask some pairs to come to the front and act out the conversation. See which group does best. 1. Remember the new words and expressions. Try to understand how to express time in English. 2. Role-play the conversation with a partner after class. 3. Write three short conversations to ask about your best friend's daily activities. Watch the video program Look at the pictures and think , further learn these phrases. Watch the pictures and finish the tasks of 1a. With the help of the teacher , answer the time. The students listen and answer the questions: I get up at … Listen 1b and match the time with activities. Work in pairs to use numbers to ask and express time . Listen and fill in the blanks Listen and finish the tasks of 2a S1: I usually get up at six thirty.
