比较级的归纳
形容词比较级的构成
（1）通常在形容词后面加上er构成比较级
e.g.:
原级

（2）原形容词词尾已有字母e时，则只在形容词词尾加r.

（3）原形容词词尾为“辅音字母+ y”时，则先去掉字母y，再加ier.

比较级句型：
A + 动词+比较级 + than + B
意思是：A比B……
e.g.：
John is fatter than Will.
My cat is smaller than yours.
This lake is more dangerous than that one.
I feel better than you.
Ben’s bike is worse than his brother’s.
I eat more than you do.
My mother exercises more than my father.
注意：比较级之后也可加名词
e.g.:
I have more books than my deskmate.
2. as…as同……一样
同级比较
通常以“同……一样”或“同……不一样”作为解释。
同级比较的重点是说明两者一样或不一样，而不是要分出两者的好坏。
（1）两者一样：as + 形容词或副词原级 + as
表示“A和B一样”
e.g.:
This room is as clean as that one.
He talks as slowly as my sister.
（2）两者不一样：not + as/ so + 形容词或副词原级 + as
表示“A和B不一样”
e.g.:
Sam is not as clever as his sister.
The weather tomorrow will not be as fine as it is today.
He doesn’t talk as slowly as my sister.
3. 比较each other和one another
（1）each other一般指两者，one another指三者或三者以上。但在口语中，两者可互换。
e.g.:
We like each other/ one another.
Helen and Jenny like each other.
Helen, Jenny and Alice like one another.
（2）两者均有所有格
e.g.:
They know each other’s address.
The students in Class 2 know one another’s hobbies.
（3）each other可以拆开用，(each…the other)，而one another则不能
e.g.:
We helped each other. = We helped each the other.
（4）这两个短语都不能作主语
e.g.:
The twin know each others thoughts.（正确）
The twins know what each other thinks.（错误）
