Use PPT to show the new words and drills. big-small short-long Step 3 2a There are 8 color boxes. Point to them and read their names out. They are black, white, red, green ,blue, … And here are two hats and two T-shirts. Which one is big and which one is small? Which one is short and which one is long? a big red hat , a small yellow hat, the short brown T-shirt ,etc. Step 4 listening(2b) 1. Check our ears: Listen to 2b and circle the things you hear in the picture . 2.Ask students to read the things. Step 5 listening （2c） Listen again and fill in the price tags Step 6. 2d Ask and answer the questions about the things in 2b. Step7 2e First, guide Ss to list some sentences that may be used in the conversation between a customer and a shop assistant: Can I help you? What can I do for you? What color/size…do you want?
