The unit is to check if the students can uses vocabulary and new words they learn in this unit to express what they want others to know.
Task-based language learning would help the students use the vocabulary and sentence structure.

Ask students who know his / her parents’ birthday, what birthday presents they ever gave to their parents.

Students think about their parents’ birthday and what they have ever done to show their love to their parents.

Present the task of learning: try to think about what their parents like and what they would give to their parents as presents.

Get familiar with the grammar on Page 52 and finish the exercise form Part 2 to Part 5

Ask the students to work in groups of 5 or 6 to think about a special birthday present for their parents. The present should be: made by themselves; able to show their love; unique.
