教材分析
   本单元以谈论物品位置（Things around the house）为话题，要求学生学会方位介词on, in, under的用法。题材颇具现代气息，贴近学生日常生活，内容丰富，词汇量大,通过描述物品位置、找寻物品、设置理想化居室等系列活动，让学生在听、说、读、写、做中学习语言知识，培养运用语言知识的能力,激发创新精神。而本节课在这个单元中对于物品方位的进一步的认知和掌握起着重要的作用，主要通过问答方式教授学生如何表达单复数物品简单的方位。

Step1 Greeting and review:
1复习家具类的单词,展示家具类的图片,并做记忆词汇游戏,加深印象且活跃课堂气氛。
2、复习Where’s…？It’s in/on /under….以及Where’re…？They're… in/ on under….句型.在复习句型的同时教授本节课的
Step2 Presentation
1、在复习句型的同时呈现本节课的新单词，以及I don’t know。
和I think it is in/on /under…。等新的句型。并在新单词的旁边标上音标及中文意思，然后教读新词。
Step3 Play guessing games
呈现句型，让学生猜测物品的位置，看谁能正确使用Is it on/in/under…? Are they in/on under…？ 句型并能准确猜出物品的位置.
Step4：Pairwork(3b）
Show some pictures，students ask and answer in pairs。Encourage them to make their conversations. Ask some pairs to act out.Make your conversations like this：
A:Where is the … ？ Is it …?
B: No, it isn’t。
A: Is it …？
B：Yes， it is. It’s …the … 。
Or
A:Where are the … ？ Are they …?
B： No, they eren’t.
A： Are they …?
B:Yes， they are。 They’re…the … 。
Step5 Do 3a.
Step6 Read 2d。And finish some exercises。
1、Where's my bag？Is it ?——Yes,it is。
2、Where’s the map?-—I think it’s room。
3、Is the hat on the sofa?--—No，it isn’t.It’s 。
Then read it aloud after the tape。And role-play。
Step7 Pairwork:
Show two pictures，students work in groups（six students in a group）and find the differences between them。Then report out.
Report like this：
In Picture 1， the … is … In Picture 2 , it’s …
In Picture 1, the … are … In Picture 2, they’re …
Step8 Pairwork（Free talk )
Do 3c in pairs。Ss practice the conversation with their partners。Ask some pairs to act out。
