新目标英语(人教版)七年级(下) Unit9 How was your weekend? (Section A)教学设计 宁强县第一初级中学 蒲晓红 (设计理念) 《英语课程标准》强调英语教学应以学生的学习兴趣、生活经验和认知水平出发。倡导体验、实践、参与、合作、交流与探究的学习方式。充分考虑学生目前的英语水平、学生理解能力以及运用知识的能力,也包括充分考虑学生中存在的差异,有针对性地加强对不同程度学生的指导,从而使每个学生都能得到发展,是设计本课的出发点。 教材分析: 本课教学内容为新目标英语七年级(下)第九单元第一课时,学习内容主要有以下3点: 1、学习系动词be和部分实义动词的过去时。 am/is→was are→were do→did go→went visit→visited study→studied clean→cleaned have/has→had 2、学习一般过去时的句型: How was your weekend? what did you /he /she /they do last weekend? He went to the movies last weekend. She cleaned the room last weekend. 3、学习关于一般过去时的语法。 动词过去时的构成。 一般过去时的含义、构成、用法。 学生分析: 到目前为止,学生已学习了动词的一般现在时,现在进行时。对动词的时态有了初步的概念。但一直以来,学生在学习和使用系动词和实义动词时,容易混淆,常犯错误。而且,区分一般现在时与一般过去时的用法,对大部分学生来说都是难点。 教学目标: 1、从与学生生活密切相关的话题入手,通过谈论学生所熟悉的天气、日期、外貌特征等引出系动词be的过去时,激发同学们的学习兴趣,帮助同学们用旧知识来引出新内容。 2、根据每个同学的真实情况,设计一些活动内容。采用“名人专访”、“即兴演讲”、“猜猜他/她是谁?”等游戏活动,激发同学们的学习热情,培养他们的自信心。 3、通过大量的课堂口语实践、听说训练,培养同学们英语口语、听力等能力。 4、通过师生合作、交流、学生与学生之间的合作交流,培养同学们合作学习精神。 教学过程: Step 1 Lead-in T:What day is it today? S:It is Monday today. T:What day was it yesterday?(write“yesterday”on the blackboard) S:It was Sunday yesterday .(Lead in the class subject). (通过学生所熟悉的今天星期几,引出yesterday一词,再通过一简单图示,学生很快理解,明白yesterday表过去。) Step 2 practice Make more conversations with was/were. 1、T:How is the weather today? S:It’s sunny today. T:How was the weather yesterday? S:It was rainy yesterday. 2、T:Where are you now? S:I’m /we are at school. T:Where were you yesterday? S:I was /we were at home. Practice with their parents, brothers or sisters. Make more sentences such as I was eleven years old last year. I was short last year, but now I’m tall. Last year my hair was short. Now May hair is long. (1、复习已学内容,自然延伸到新课学习,起到承上启下的作用)。 (2、进行过去与现在比较,有意识地引导学生注意观察动词的过去时) Step 3 Presentation T:It was Sunday yesterday . I was at home. I watched TV at home. What about you? What did you do yesterday? (write watch – watched on the blackboard and explain it.) S1:I did my homework at home. (write do – did on the blackboard and explain it ) S2:I cleaned the room. S3:I went shopping S4:I played the guitar. … (本部分利用多媒体,尽可能多地展示动词短语的图片,帮助学生归纳总结动词的过去时,真正体现在“用中学,学了就用”。) Step 4 Pair work Ask and answer in pairs. S1:What did you do last weekend? S2:I watched TV. S3:I played tennis. S4:I did my homework. Step 5 Talking about the pictures (la). 1、Ask the students to match the words with the pictures. 2、Ask the students to talk about the pictures. Step 6 Listening and speaking (1b、1c). 1、Ask the students to Listen to the conversation and fill in the blanks in the picture. 2、Ask the students to read the conversation in 1c and then make coversations in pairs. (听力训练既是对知识的巩固,也为下一步的学习奠定基础。) Step 7 Consolidation and sum – up 1、Help students to sum up what have learned in this class. Step 8 Homework Write a short passage about your weekend after class. 5
