3.初步理解形容词、副词比较级的构成和基本用法。

【学习与探究】
Step 1.let students read the chant
比较级有规律,词尾加上一er两兄弟
要是以e来结尾,只有小二(r)跟上去
重读闭音节要牢,双写千万别忘记
要是“辅音+y”小艾(i)要把y替再加一er两兄弟
多单节加上m-o-r-e, 你看这样多容易,多容易.
(说明,用打花掌的形式朗读这首小诗,即开门见山地导入主题,又激发了学生们的兴趣,而且能让学生牢牢地记住了形容词比较级的变化)
Step 2.Talking in groups (分十个小组进行交流)
A.Show some photos and talk about them.

Who is fatter,YuWenhua or YinXiangjie?
YinXiangjie is fatter than YuWenhua.
(说明:利用一对双胞胎生动形象地切入主题)

Step 3.Practice one by one.
(说明:发挥每个学生的聪明才智,让学生们拿出预先准备好的明星照片、玩具、学习用品等等来进行造句大串烧,规定是不允许使用重复的形容词)

教 学 反 思
本节课内容多、容量大,那么如何把握好这节课,如何体现“生本课堂”通过课堂的实战演练,本人有以下几点体会:
在定位本课时教学目标时,要求学生所掌握的词汇,学会运用目标语。Is that Tom? No. that’s Sam. He has shorter hair than Sam. He is a little / much heavier than Sam.以及对形容词比较的构成和用法,90%以上的学生已基本掌握,达到了预期的目的。
本节课是以听说为主的课,较学环节以导入新课——前置学习——自主学习——小组活动——个人比赛——教师点拔——小组活动——小组比赛,这种模式的训练充分体现了“生本课堂”,教师引导——点拔不超过15分钟,更有效地体现了学生个性的发展和增强了学生的语言实践能力。
我在处理教材的时候,首先以一首自由诗的形式将学生的眼球都吸引过来,他们带着好奇和兴奋地心情来上这节课,为了丰富本节课内容,让小组竞赛找出形容词的反义词,有两组的学生找出了二十对以上,太令我吃惊了,而且在小组比赛中,为了多得分,有的同学竞然先说为快,在处理听力的时候为了使学生有个整体印象。我将1b、2a、2b一起听,在本节课结束的时候,我自编了一首英文歌曲,针对八年级的学生比上一年更高了,也更累了,这首歌不仅有机地结合了形容词的用法,而且大大地提高了记忆能力,同时也倒出了学生们的心声,体现了乐中求学。
