would rather do A than do B 宁做 A不做B
Practise: 用would rather do A than do B 连接句子

2. wear, put on, be in & dress
wear意为“穿着，佩戴着”，强调穿着的状态，可与进行时连用。
She is wearing a new dress today.
He wears that pair of glasses every day.
put on表示“穿上，戴上”，强调穿的动作。
It’s cold outside, you must put on your coat when you go out.
He put on his glasses to read the letter.
be in表示“穿着”，与wear同意，也表示一种状态，但通常后跟颜色, 也可放名词后做定语。
She is in a red coat today. The boy in blue is my cousin.
dress强调 “穿”的动作，意为“穿衣服”，其宾语是人而不是衣服。
She dressed her son quickly and left. The boy is old enough to dress himself.
