Teaching process:
一、Greeting:
Boys and girls,look at the blackboard,please. We'll divide the class in the two teams. Football team and basketball team. Who can get more balls,who will be winner!
T: Good moning,boys and girls. I'm your new friend. I'm Amy. I like singing, drawing, running, playing basketball, watching TV and listening to music. What do you like to do?
Ss: Answer.
二、Hot-up
T: Are you ready for English class ? Look at this picture. We know Olympics will come. How to welcome ? We all join sports.
T: Stand up . Let's have warmer . I say ,sing, sing,sing,you say"singing,singing, singing" And do action.
(run , play , draw , swim , jump , play basketball ,play football ,play table tennis watch TV,listen to music)
三、Review words and phrases.
Ss: Read cards about action around the blackboard as quickly as you can .
四、Presentations:
1 、T (do action) ask : What am I doing ?
Ss answer: You 're jumping .
Watch the screen . Ss: read again.
2、 T show a card. ask: She is agirl. What is she doing ?[板书：What is she doing ?]
T point. Then. Ss:say What is she doing ? Read this sentence one by one/two by two in the teams/rows.
T point to a boy,ask: What is he doing ?[板书：What is he doing ?]
Ss Read this sentence four by four / row by row .
T:Let's practice now. I want a child in every groub.S4 do action ,the others ask and answer . ''What is he/she doing? She/he is__.（开火车问答操练）
3、 T show a card . What can you see in this picture ?

教学反思：
　　通过教学“ＮＳＥ”第三册Ｍoudle４Unit 2 What is Amy doing ?这一课，主要让学生复习大量的动词以及动词短语，并怎样询问自己或别人正在做什么的几种表达方式，在构思和设计本课的教学内容时，我做了以下尝试：
　　一、联系实际，设计新颖的导入，激发学生的兴趣
　　由于本课针对的学生群体是四年级的学生，他们有了一年的英语基础。而且内容与运动有关，生动的语言教材和多样的教学形式能提高学生的学习兴趣，并能寓教于乐，所以我把２００８年的奥运主题贯穿整节课，充分利用“Olympics”的资源，以精彩图片的形式展现在学生眼前，并用夸张的声音通过图片讲述，从而过渡到本课涉及的动词词组“run ,swim,jump，play football,watch TV…”进行了有节奏的操练。
　　二、通过游戏和阶段性的任务，使学生理解和掌握语言知识，体现“教师为指导，学生为主体”的思想
游戏能充分调动学生的求知欲和好奇心，而阶段性的任务则可以在将学生分成若干小组的情况下，满足学生的成就感和提高他们的团队精神和竞争能力。在游戏过程中，学生能够充分表现自己的能力和愿望，轻松愉快地达到教师预设的教学目标。我通过“Ｄo　and　guess”这个游戏，让学生上台表演，全班问答，一个学生猜，达到了训练学生口语的目的，并把英语融入生活中。
　　分阶段任务的设计，使学生通过书上“Ｌisten　and　chose”有针对性地训练学生听力，并作出选择，还运用刚学到的语言知识与他人交流，体现了“教师为指导，学生为主体”的思想，创新和丰富了教学内容。
　　三、充分利用多媒体课件，提高教学质量。
　　１、课题引入：以“奥运”图片整体呈现，激发学生兴趣的同时让学生初步感受今天所学内容与运动有关。
　　２、通过ＶＣＤ截选的歌曲，让学生边看动画学歌曲，边做动作。除了巩固所学知识以外，还达到课中放松，保持兴趣的效果。
　　３、直观、生动地呈现不同项目的精彩照片，变换人称，达到教学效果。
　　４、拓展时，伴着高昂的奥运主题曲边读“奥运”口号，使运动精神得到升华。
　　总体来说，在多媒体的运用上结合了它进行速度快、储存量大、自动化程度高的特点，又加上身体语言、语音、语调中体现情感因素，较为圆满地完成了本课教学任务，实现了本课的教学目的。
　　四、检查教学效果，作出及时反馈与评价
　　在本课中，我的课堂评价一直贯穿着这堂课，我把全班分成足球队和篮球队，每得５分就进一个球，我设计的评价方式紧扣课题而且有新颖。在课的最后，以球和分来评价两组同学。宣布“Ｗiner”，鼓励另一组“Ｃome　on　！Ｉbelive　you　can　do　better　！”
