一、教学目标
1. 掌握单词：spaceship, moon, astronaut, dream, air等单词。
2. 熟记以下单词过去式：have/has – had
am/is – was
are – were

1. 重点：
1) 掌握核心单词spaceship, moon, astronaut, dream, friendly.
2) 掌握几个过去式表达：have/has – had
am/is – was
are – were
2. 难点：
会用所学新句型造句，并将所学知识运用到实际生活中。
三、教学过程
Review
Ann had a dream.
She was an astronaut.
Ann and Ken were in a spaceship.
Flashcard activity
Prepare the profession flashcard from last year. Review the cards one by one. Play a guessing game.
Words to learn
1. Have the children open their books at page 4. Draw their attention to the top half of the page. Point to the picture and have the children say what they can see in the picture.
2. Now point to the spaceship and elicit the name “a spaceship” from them. In this way you actually train the children to explore the meaning and pronunciation of the new words. The teacher then models the word and has the children repeat. Use the same procedure with the other words in the picture.
3. Now draw their attention to the words in the box. The children might still have interest to pronounce the words. Provide opportunity for them then.
4. Play the tape, and have the children point on their books.
Extended word game
Show several words together and then take them away altogether. See how many words they can remember.
1. Listen and number.
1) Have the children look at the pictures at the bottom of the page. Explain that each of the pictures describes a different dream of Ann.
2) Ask children to talk about where Ann was or what she was in each dream. Using the structure “She was a doctor. /She was on Mars.”
2. Play the tape.
1) Have the children point to the corresponding picture.
2) Play the tape again. Now explain to the children that this time they need to write the corresponding sentence number in the box next to the matching picture. When all the children finished, point to each picture and elicit sentences from the children.
3. Use the books.
1) Have the children open the books at page5 and look at the pictures on top of the page.
2) Have the children look at the two children in the picture. Explain that Sue and Peter are talking about where they were yesterday. Point to the picture on the right. Elicit the names for the places shown in the picture. Ask the children where they think Sue and Peter were yesterday.
3) Now tell the children to read the text below the picture on the left and answer your question. Elicit, “Sue was at the park.”, “Peter was at the movie theater.”
4. Read the dialogue.
Act out the dialogue.
5. Homework.
