Unit 4 What Can they Do?教学设计 科目 英语 班别 五年级 执教 宣红斌 课题 Unit 4 What Can they Do? 课时 1课时 教学目标 1)Can listen to and read the new words . 2) Can resd out and understand the dialogue,some of them can act out the dialogue. 3)Some of the pupils can make a dialogue after the model. 4)培养学生热爱大自然的积极情感。 教 学 过 程 (一)Warming–up 1)Let the pupils try to name the animals and predict the content. Free Talk: a. What day is it today? b. What date is it today? (二)Presentation 1、Lead to three animals. ( Today I am very happy. Because I see three animals. Now see it and guess what it is) 2、 Show a part of a picture and let the pupils to guess. 3、 kangaroo- frog — turtle(引导学生从读音或旧单词去记单词) 4.T:I can jump .But not very high and very far.Can you jump? P1:Yes, I can. T:I can't swim .Can you swim? P2:Yes./No. T:I can't fly. T:What animals can fly?(让学生猜) P3:Birds./Butterfly.... T:What animals can jump/swim?(让学生猜) P:Rabbits./monkeys/kangaroos/frogs.... (三)Consolidation 1. Draw attention to the kangaroo, the frog, the turtle, the plane, the fish, the bird, and the boy. 2. Let the pupils listen to the tape to check predictions. To go with each verb. Alternative gestures for the negative froms. 3.Do the action and act out the dialogue. 4.Highlight the use of “and” for addition, and “but” for contrast. 5.Using simple sentences to demomstrate the ture and false activity practise in groups and pairs. 6.Divide the children into “can” or “can’t” groups,choose two animals to ask them to brainstorm on what they can or can’t do. Get them to use “but” or “and” to make a comparision or addition,e.g. Ducks can swim fast but they can’t jump high. 7. Get the children to tell in pairs of what he/she can or can’t do. (四)Development 1.Do the exercises on p17.learn some phrases : run fast, fly high, climb trees, read and write. 2. In 3,pay attention to number of nouns. 3. Go over this class. 4. listen to the song on p18 Homework 1)Copy the new words and main sentences in the dialogue 2)Listen and read the dialogue 3)Recite the text and try to act out the dialogue. 备注
