Teaching objectives:
By the end of the class, the students are expected:
（1）to master the words and expressions about exercise actions.
（2）to be able to talk about dates, using ordinal numbers.
（3）to give commands and talk about exercises to develop their listening and speaking skills.
（4）to develop their cooperative spirit and improve their communicative abilities.
（5）to love sports better than before.
Teaching aids: Multi-media
Teaching procedure:
I.Warming-up
An English song ：Bingo
II.Pre-task preparation
1. Review how to express the date.
2. A Game: Bingo (about dates).
3. Tell the name of the action while looking at the picture.

III.While-task process
1. Look at the picture and answer the questions.
2. Learn the phrases about commands by using the pictures.
3. Brainstorming:What warm-up exercises do you do before doing sports?
4. Text studying：
1) Listen to the tape once and complete the orders and tick the warm-up exercises the students did in their PE class.
2) Listen to the text and write down all the orders and warm-up exercises.
3) Do Comprehension Check.
4) Read the text in roles.
5) Retell the text.
IV. Post-task activity
1. Role play: Suppose you are having a PE class in the playground, take turns to role-play your PE teacher.
2. Pair work:Talk about the warm-up exercises after the model.
3. Discuss : What’s your favourate sport?
V. Assignment
1. Read and recite the text.
2. In five to six sentences ,write about your favourate sport.
3. Find a passage about sports and introduce it to the class. (for advanced)
