一、课程的性质、目的与任务
本课程是对社会工作专业的学生开设的一门专业英语课。通过该课程的学习，使学生在学习专业知识的基础上，加强学生的社会适应能力。
通过本课程的学习，使学生掌握一定量的社会工作专业英语词汇及必要的英语词汇，掌握社会工作的基本概念及基本模式，熟悉社会工作的技巧与方法，具备相当水平的社会工作实务能力。

Chapter 2 The Evolution of Social Work and Social Welfare in the China
【教学内容】
Echoes of the past ，European roots ，beginning in the United States，Chinese evolution，Public assistance ，Services of volunteers.
【教学要求】
了解社会工作在欧洲、美国的发展；掌握社会工作在中国的发展。
【教学难点】
Chinese evolution，专业英语词汇及表达用法。
Chapter 3 Social Work Practice with Individuals
【教学内容】
Work with individuals，Social work defined，History of social casework and clinical social work，The practice framework，Methods and problems of clinical social work.
【教学要求】
了解个案工作和临床社会工作的历史；理解和掌握临床社会工作的定义、实务工作的框架，方法及问题。
【教学重难点】

【教学内容】
