The Railway Children, which was written by Edith Nesbit, is famous story of children’s literature and we can learn many things from it. After reading this story, I was deeply moved because people in the story have a heart of gold. They respected each other, trusted each other, offered help to others unconditionally, even thought the stranger also could when others needed help, which impressed me most. Let me take the old gentleman for example, his heart was full of kindness. During the most helpless time of the children, he gave them hope when the children met with difficulties. He always wore a smile on his face every time he gave his selfless help to the children and he even didn’t want to let them knew his name. I admire him so much that I want to be a person like him. I hope more people can read this story, not only the children but also adults.
The Adventures of Tom Sawyer is a literary master pieces, written in 1876 by the famous author Mark Twain. Tom Sawyer is a mischief young boy who lives in the small town on the Mississippi River called St Petersburg. Then they become real-life witnesses to a terrible crime! Whether Tom is running away from villains, treasure hunting, or showing off for Becky Thatcher, it's one thrilling escapade after another. The story line is simple, the book reads a biography or a member of a summer in Tom Sawyer’s life.
The book is a little difficult to read at first. Personally, it takes me a little while to get used to the 19th century dialect in the book. Other than referring to person of African decent in derogatory term which I’m sure uses terms even young children already know , the book would be an enjoy able read for people of all ages . I highly recommend this book for any one looking to feel young again. If just for a few hundred pages.
I believed, even if your childhood difficult again, you recollected also can be very happy. Who hasn't made a half silly matter in the childhood? When you more grow up, you can more think these silly matters are interesting. I said the childhood likes pot sweet wine, when separates more for a long time, tastes fragrant, is purer, more let the person aftertaste.
