Unit 10 Earth Day (EEC教材初三上册第十单元阅读课) 哈尔滨市香坊区旭东中学 郭晓莉 一、设计理念 在本课中,我根据教材内容,创设一个真实的情境,设计出不同课堂阅读活动,围绕阅读理解方法进行分析, 重点解决阅读技巧的训练,这节课给我带来了很多思考,读什么,怎么读,为什么读,不能只是为了解决几个问题而读,把所有跟阅读有关的题型都让学生了解一下,把整节课也分成了泛读和细读几个步骤,然后有针对性的对其中几个小题进行分析训练,并让学生自己总结出方法技巧。 二、教材分析 (一) 教学内容: 本课时的教学内容选自EEC教材初三上册第十单元阅读课 (二) 重点和难点: 重点:学习本单元的阅读方法和句子。 难点:倡导每个人都应该保护我们的地球母亲。 三、学情分析: 地球日这个话题对于学生来说有些陌生,但保护地球的话题却是大家都很熟悉的话题。初三年级的学生对英语的认知水平有所提高,但对生僻的词汇进行记忆与掌握也是很困难的,在“为地球庆祝生日,从而提高学生保护地球的意识”这样一个语境下来习得单词的用法较为容易。 课题 Unit 10 Earth Day 姓名 郭晓莉 年级 初三年级(上) 时间 2014.11.25. 教学 目标 设计 知识与技能 1. Step 2 Lead into (导入) T:Everyone has his own birthday. Can you tell me your birthday? When is it? Ss: It’s on … T: Can you tell me when your mother’s birthday is. Ss: It’s on… T: Our mother earth also has her own birthday---Earth Day. Today we will talk about the Earth Day.(板书题目) Step 3 Task 1 T: Listen and answer a question When was the first Earth Day? On April 22 , 1970 T: Task 2 Read with no sound (自己默读) 1.What is the passage about? A. Pollution. B. Droughts. C. Earth Day 2.Match the main idea of each paragraph. Para.1 a. Introducing the first Earth Day. Para.2 b. Introducing things we can do on Earth Day. Para.3 c. Introducing Earth Day.
