Thanks for your (invite) (2)prepare / preparation prepare 动词 prepare for an text. preparation 名词 any of party preparation. Eg. I have to (prepare)for an math text. I’d help out with any of party (prepare) (3)look forward to doing …/ I’m glad to do… look forward to doing 中 to 是介词,后跟名词,代词或动名词。 I’m glad to do…中to 是动词不定式符号,后跟动词原形。 Eg. I’m glad to (see) you, and I look forward to (see) again next time.(造句) Step 4. Extensive reading 1.Received Amy’s mail ,(asking for help ) and fill the blanks 2d. 2. Listen to the passage and answer the question. Question:What do most people do after the party? . Invitations are important. In the west, people often give invitations to their friends. Most invitations are for dinner or a birthday party. When people accept an invitation to a dinner or party, they usually ask what they can bring. They often take flowers, chocolates, or other presents. People usually take a birthday present to a birthday party. After a dinner or birthday party , most people telephone the host(主人)to say “thank you”. Some people write a short thank-you note or send an e-mail to the host. 3. passage 3 A: Miss Yang is leaving. Let’s plan a surprise party for her! B: Good idea! A: Where is the party? B: In our class. A: When is the party? B: How about Friday afternoon? A: OK. Who will come to the party? Let’s go and prepare. 【设计意图】:通过3篇不同形式的拓展阅读,巩固学生旧知,同时拓出新知,了解中西文化差异,为最后的整体输出做准备。 Step 5.
