系动词用法讲解示例

一、学习系动词，必须明确三点：

1、系动词本身也属于动词；但它表示的不是一个明显的动作，更过的是表示一种状态或缓慢变化的过程；
2、系动词最大的特点是后面可以直接用形容词。这是它与及物动词、与不及物动词的根本区别。[当然，系动词后也可接名词、名词性从句或其它词组。]
3、系动词不是只有一个be,而是有很多。例如：look,taste,smell,feel,seem,appear, become,get,turn, grow,make, come, go, fall,run, remain, keep,stay,continue,stand,rest,lie,hold,be,sound,prove等等。

二、示例讲解

1、系动词+形容词

He fell ill yesterday.
He always kept silent at meeting.
He looks tired. 他看起来很累。
This kind of cloth feels very soft. 这种布手感很软。
This flower smells very sweet. 这朵花闻起来很香。
He became mad after that. 自那之后，他疯了。
She grew rich within a short time. 她没多长时间就富了
The rumor proved false. 这谣言证实有假。
The search proved difficult. 搜查证实很难。
Their money was running short.
Still water runs deep.
Thing will come right in the end.
The girl grew thinner and thinner.
The weather suddenly turned much colder.
His coat has become badly torn.
The fence gets white-washed every year.
The room soon became crowded.

2、系动词+名词 (这儿的名词是表语，不是及物动词的宾语。)

He is a teacher. 他是一名教师。
This matter rests a mystery. 此事仍是一个谜。
His dream has become a reality.他的梦想变成了现实。
He has turned scientist. 他成了一名科学家。
Her cheeks went a very pretty pink.
He fell a victim to cancer.

3、系动词+不定式

He seems (to be) very sad. 他看起来很伤心。
I’ve really come to love this place.我开始爱上这个地方。
Mary’s growing to be more and more like her mother.
You’ll soon get to like it.

4、系动词+表语从句

The trouble is that I have lost his address. 麻烦是我把他的地址丢了。
He looked just as he had looked ten years before. 他看起来还与十年前一样。
The question is whether they will be able to help us. 问题是他们是否能帮我们。
t looked as if it was going to rain. 看起来天要下雨了。
The problem is who we can get to replace her. 问题是我们能找到谁去替换她呢。
The question is how he did it. 问题是他是如何做此事的。
That was what she did this morning on reaching the attic. 那就是她今晨上了阁楼干的。
I think it is because you are doing too much. 我想这是因为你做得太多。
My suggestion is that we (should) start early tomorrow. 我的建议是我们明天一早就出发。
All this was over twenty years ago, but it´s as if it was only yesterday. 这都是20多年前的事了，但宛如昨天一样。
