课题:人教版初中英语九年级 Unit1 How can we become good learners? Part 1: Analysis of the teaching materials. In this unit the central topic is learning: the main language function is talking about how to study. Based on this central topic and related to the students’ daily life. The theme sentences in the textbook can help students to understand. By reading, students will better understand how to learn English well and find more ways. Part2: Teaching aims and demands. 1. the aims of the knowledge ①vocabulary Ability, creative ,brain, active, overnight, review, knowledge, lifelong, wisely ②phrases and expressions Be born with, pay attention to, connect with ③ sentences But whether or not you can do this well depends on your learning habits. Knowledge comes from questioning. 2. the aims of abilities By reading the article, help students solve the problem. 3. the aims of moral education Tell students how to study and how to become a good learner. 4. the teaching emphasis and difficulties Emphasis: ① new words and phrases ② to get the ability of acquiring information Difficulties: Translate and understand the sentences Part3: the teaching aids Media player and the blackboard Part 4: the teaching and learning methods Step1: Pre-reading Discuss the question: What good learning habits can you think of? Make a list and discuss them with your partner. Step2: while-reading ① find the theme sentences ② find the supporting sentences of each theme ③analysis the main phrases and sentences Step3: after-reading 1. answer the questions ① why is it a good idea to connect something you need to learn with something you are interested in? ② what study skills does the writer talk about? Do you have those study skill? 2. order the sentences in each paragraph step4: homework Write an article about how to become a successful learner. Part 6: the plan of the blackboard Creating an interest in what they learn. Practicing and learning from mistakes. Developing their study skills. Asking questions.
