Type of the lesson: vocabulary learning 2. students to be taught: The 2nd grade students in senior high school 3.main vocabulary appeared in the passage: replace Concentrate Convince 4.relative phrases: take place take one’s place give place to in place in place of out of place .Concentrate on sth /doing sth Concentrate one’s effort on sth/doing sth Convince sb to do sth Convince sb of sth be convinced that /of convincing Teaching objectives 1. Through the learning and explanation, most of students will be able to distinguish the difference between each phrases and get familiar with them. 2. Through explanation, students can use the main vocabularies and their relative phrases appeared in the article. 3. Through the learning and explanation, most of students will be able to select the right words or their relative phrases to finish the given question.  Language contents and skills Language contents: main vocabularies and their relative phrases appeared in the article.
