Step 2:Guide in (1’) 1) The teacher communicates with students.   The teacher does some actions and lets students guess what she can do? Then the teacher says :yes,I can sing English songs. I can do some Kong fu .I can draw cartoons .I can dance . I can play the pipa . I can…. Step3、Presentation (呈现新知) Task 1:learn new words and phrases. (8’) 1) Point and read. 2) Read in groups between boys and girls. 3) Read one by one. 4) Read them volunteerly and spell them. 5) Explain the using of play . Task 2: Learn the new sentence :What can you do? and answer it with sentence :I can…. (8’) The teacher says :you can do many things now ,I want to know what things you can do.(Practice sentence :what can you do? I can ….) 1) Teacher ask some students: what can you do ?let students answer it using the phrases they learned just now. 2) Pair work :let deskmates ask the question and answer it in pairs. 3) Show the results. Task 3:Listening test(4’) 1) The teacher plays the tape and lets students circle what Mike can do. 2) Check the result .(The teacher can play the second time if the students need.) Task 4:Do a survey.(15’) The teacher says:we can do many things and I know Mike can draw pictures ,too .But I want to know more about you ,let’s do a survey about things you and your classmates can do. OK ? 1) Every group should ask each student the question : what can you do? And write down their answers . (6’) 2) Choose one student to report the result in your group.   Like this :In my group ,I can sing English songs and draw cartoons .A can play basketball .B can do some kung fu .C can play the pipa and dance .We are very helpful.
