One day a farmer went out for a walk with his daughter. The farmer put on a pair of wrong shoes－one with a thick sole(鞋底) and the other with a thin one. Baima Zhuoga is a Tibetan(西藏的) girl. Her school life is very colourful. Her school is near Xigaze(日喀则). It is about 4,000 metres above the sea level(海平面). Mount Qomolangma, the highest mountain in the world, stands about 200 kilometres from her school.
The15-year-oldgirl studies and lives at Bailang Middle School. (1)Sometimes she walks home, and the trip takes five hours! Sometimes her father drives her in their carriage(马车). It only takes two hours.
