六年级英语小故事 1.Two dogs A man has two dogs: a hound(猎狗) and a housedog(看家狗). He trains(训练) the hound to help him hurt and teaches the housedog to watch the house. When he returns(返回) home after a day’s hunt, he always gives the house-dog some meat. The hound feels very angry. He says unhappily to the housedog, “Where I work very hard outside, you share my food.” “Don’t blame(指责) me, my friend. You should blame the master. He doesn’t teach me to hunt, but to share other’s food,” the housedog answers. Don’t blame children for the mistakes of their parent. 2.Naughty(顽皮的) Monkey It’s very hot.. An old man is asleep on the chair. A fly comes and sits on the end of the man’s nose. The old man has a naughty monkey. He chases(追赶) the fly.The fly comes back again and sits on the old man’s nose again. The monkey chases it away again and again. This happens five or six times. The monkey is very angry. He jumps up, runs to the garden and picks up (捡起)a large stone. When the fly sits on the old man’s nose again, the monkey hits it hard with the stone. He kills the fly and breaks the old man’s nose. The Wolf and the donkey(驴) A wolf once met a donkey on the road outside the village. "I 'm going to eat you up(吃光), "said the wolf . "Certainly, " replied(回答) the donkey, thinking fast. "But please don't eat me out here on the road where everyone can see. I shall be so ashamed(难为情) . Take me into the forest. Don't be afraid that I shall try to escape(逃脱). Here, tie(系上) this rope round your neck and fasten(系牢) it to my bridle(缰绳). Then I will lead you to a quiet spot(地点) I know." The wolf thought this was a good idea so he fastened the rope round his neck and knotted(打结) it firmly(坚固地) to the donkey's bridle. "Now I will go wherever you say, " said the donkey. "Show me the way to your quiet spot , " ordered the wolf. "Very well," said the donkey, setting off(出发) down the road towards the village. As they came to the first houses the wolf began to suspect(怀疑) that he had been tricked. "This is not the way to the forest, " he said, tugging(用力拉) at his end of the rope. "This road goes to the village." "Don't worry," said the donkey cheerfully(愉快地) , "This is a short cut(近路). " The donkey began to trot(小跑) faster , then to gallop(飞奔). The rope round the wolf's neck drew(拉) tight; in a very short time he was dragged(被拖) right up to the donkey's door. The master, his wife and their three sons all came running out to rescue(营救) the donkey . They were so angry that they would have killed the wolf there and then. Fortunately(幸运地) for the wolf , however , one of the sons threw a knife at him. The knife missed , but it cut the rope round his neck. The next moment all the family could see was a cloud of dust in the road as the wolf fled(逃走) to safety in the dark forest. If you keep your head you will be all right.
