2：能熟练运用句型:When is …? It’s on….
3：能询问和回答节日与活动的日期，正确运用月份日期，并能够大胆创编和表演有关节日以及某活动时间安排的问答小对话。
4：了解中西方重要节日的日期。

重点：1：掌握序数词first、second 、third 、fourth 、fifth 的听说读写;
2:能在实际语境中交流运用句型：When is … ? It’s on ….
难点：学生能够大胆创编和表演有关节日以及某活动时间安排的问答小对话。

IV、 Teaching steps and methods :
Step1: Greetings .
Step2：Warming up
1:Review the months
通过Let’s chant来复习12个月份。
2:Review the numbers.
Step 3: Presentation and practise
1：利用运动会图片由基数词导入序数词first ，以及缩略形式1st, and write them on the blackboard.
Then teach the others in the same way. 并让学生观察序数词和基数词，注意其形式和意义不同。
2：Practice in groups and memorize them .
3: 利用“愚人节”图片导入句型：When is April Fool’s Day? 帮助学生回答It’s on April 1st. 解释日期的表达和读法，注意序数词的读音。
引入“复活节”图片，并介绍复活节的由来。运用句型When is Easter? It’s on April 5th.
Then practice the sentence structure using “the sports meet ”.
介绍元旦、国庆节、儿童节让学生们了解东西方文化的不同节日和日期。熟练练习句型：When is … ? It’s on ….
Step 4: Consolidation (巩固拓展）
Ask and answer 小组活动,练习询问活动的日期。
Step 6: Summary
归纳总结本节课所学单词句型。
Step 7:Homework
1:规范的写出本节课所学的序数词第一到第五以及句型：When is …? It’ on ….
2:运用句型编对话练习节日和活动。
