7、trusted to Ryan: Earn it. What can be understood as Keep living or It is worth saving you”。 In order to ensure this action to be worthy, Ryan must keep living and have a good and meaningful life. Miller wanted to tell his died comrades and himself, “This is all worthwhile!”It can only happen in the

The soldiers kill enemies or save comrades only to complete their tasks, and then, go back home. Some media also talked about this controversial issue.According to Mark Heisler in his Los Angeles Ti

There were only one man left in the family, and the mission was to save him. This comment makes a good conclusion of the theme of Saving Private Ryan. Why

In order to allow more people to get out of the war and go back home, to achieve freedom and enjoy the colorful life, the squad members defended their positions. The friendship in the war and brotherhood

11、are also bright points in the film. There is a wonderful line in the film: To the world, you are a soldier; to your mother, you are the whole world. If you insist that this task is not worth, from now on, live carefully, become a good person, be kind to others, and you would learn more from this film

12、.拯救大兵瑞恩英文影评(二)At this point, I dont know what Id say about Saving Private Ryan, even if I hadnt liked it.Undoubtedly this years hype leader among quality pictures, Ryan hasnt garnered a word of bad buzz aside from the stern and dire warnings about its overwhelming violence content. Its no lie: Ryan

13、may be one of the goriest films ever made - it will certainly be the goriest to ever win an Oscar (which will come in droves: I predict seven). An excellent companion piece to Schindlers List, Spielberg has obviously poured his heart into this movie. The well-known story of a small groups search for

14、James Ryan (Damon), whose three brothers were killed nearly simultaneously, is as simple and as powerful as they come. The battle scenes, which encompass probably 100 minutes of the circa 160-minute running time, are epic in proportion. The idle moments in between are also worth your attention, altho

15、ugh, in the end and in retrospect, they can seem a bit pithy on occasion, especially the bookend scenes of the elderly Ryan returning to Normandy to pay his respects. For Speilberg, theres no such thing as going too far to get you to cry.Still, Ryans easily a top contender for best film of the year,

16、thanks to the gut-wrenching realism that pervades every scene of the picture. I only hope Spielberg can come to grips with the remnants of Jurassic Park that still must linger in his blood, making him take the easy-cheesy way out (eg. the planes from above that save the day) when working through the

17、 actual story gets a bit too hairy.拯救大兵瑞恩英文影评(三)Crankys dad explained the genesis of what is called the Sullivan Law, enacted after World War II, after a mother of four sons received word, on the same day, that each of her kidlets had been Killed In Action. The law that was passed, simply, gave an i

Cranky tried to write down what he was feeling, but he couldnt hold a pen in his hands. If ever there was a war movie whose net effect is to make you sick to your stomach of w

20、ar, Saving Private Ryan is it. Dont misread the sentence. Its a good thing.Steven Spielberg says he didnt want his movie to look like a technicolor extravaganza about World War II. It doesnt. If I remember the other press stories Ive read, 5000 men hit the beach at Omaha. 400 survived unscathed. Thats a slaughter.Cranky apologizes to yall right up front, cuz Im going to brea

23、k my pledge to never write like a film student on this one. I dont see any way around it. The good news is that Saving Private Ryan is an awesome piece of film making. The bad news is the problem of telling you readers how this awesome piece is going to rip their guts to pieces. How the effect of su

24、ch shredding may keep you the heck away from the movie theater. It shouldnt, but this may be one of the few times that the intent of a film is so completely fulfilled that it keeps audiences away.Since Cranky was once a soundman, lets begin with the work of Sound Designer Gary Rydstrom. (Remember, y

When what you hear is muted and muffled, theres a strange kind of beauty in the visual of a machine gun bullet displacing air through water as it

The noise is so intense you cant hear battle orders you see coming from the moving lips of your captain. A soldier next to you makes the mistake of taking off his helmet

27、, to see where the bullet ricocheted off of it. Bodies pop open like overripe melons, and this is just the beginning. When your ears have cleared the water, the explosions all around you make you deaf. By the end of the flick, there will be a ringing in your ears - all mixed into the soundtrack, whi

And the sound folks have got it locked, as far as this ex-pan pot pusher is concerned.
