9、ground (a) Brief Description The BRESL project is aimed at rapidly accelerating the adoption and implementation of energy standards and labels (ES&L) program in Asia. The project also facilitates harmonization of test procedures, standards and labels among developing countries in Asia, when appropri
10、ate. BRESL will facilitate the transformation of the manufacture and sale of energy-efficient appliances and equipment through: A regional initiative in Asia. The project will focus on regional ES&L program cooperation and harmonization with provision for general information, tools and training to a
11、ll interested developing countries in the region. National technical assistance to 6 developing countries in Asia. The project will focus on capacity building and assisting government, manufacturer, distributor, retailor, consumer and relevant stakeholders throughout the Asian region to implement th
12、e most cost-effective ES&L program. 24、nsibilities Tasks and responsibilities:The international energy efficiency(EE) technical expert for lighting will work within Technical Working Groups (TWGs) of CFLs and ballasts for FTLs. He will provide technical support for regional cooperation and harmonization on EE standards and labeling progr
25、ammes for CFLs and ballasts for FTLs, and he will help RPMU coordinate on these 2 TWGs work, including:l Conduct feasibility studies on regional coorperation and harmonization on developing EE testing procedures, standards and labeling programmes for CFLs and ballasts for FTLs; l Develop the ES&L co
26、operation and harmonization regional implementing scheme and road-map for CFLs and ballasts for FTLs;l Develop EE testing procedures, standards and labeling programmes for CFLs and ballasts for FTLs in line with approved work plans and implementing scheme;l Organize and participate in relative meeti

29、ciency;l Having 8 years professional experience in ES&L programmes development and implementation, and 5 years experience in international coopration projects implementation; l Familiar with existing ES&L programmes in the world and in BRESL participating countries; l Familiar with EE testing procedures and standards of relative products; l Good communication skills, and outstanding speaking, reading and writing skills in English.
