Entering DataEnter your(x,y,z)data into columns A,B,and C,one data point per row.Formulasin the worksheet transform the data,and the chart is actually displaying the data incolumns P and Q(Chart columns V and W.Show DataThis checkbox executes a macro to control the visibility of the data seriesData ScalingThese option buttons determine the type of scaling used in the chart,and is linked tocell C2(Scaling).The original data is transformed such that it has a minimum of-3and a maximum of+3.If you select the Single scale for all data option,all of the data uses the samescaling.This option will show the data most accurately,but one or more dimensionsof the chart may not be filled completely.This option is suitable for data that has asimilar scale for all three dimensions.If you select the Separate x,y,and z scalingoption,each dimension is scaled separately.This option may distort thecross-dimensional differences in the data,but it will produce an acceptable chartfor all data.Performance IssuesRotating the chart involves many recalculations.For best results,dont have anyother workbooks open-especially those that are calculation-intensive.To fine-tine the rotation
