The Importance of Effective Communication Abstrct:Effective communication, from the concept of speaking, is to a target, the information, thought and emotion transfer to specific individuals or groups, and to reach a consensus. Effective communication is not only an effective tool of enterprise management, or a skill,but also is of one's own knowledge and ability, expression ability, behavior ability and performance. It is a prerequisite for the smooth progress of the work of the enterprise. Keywords:Effective communication,groups,management People are social beings, one of the organization and a group of actors, only contacts with the groups in order to realize its own significance and the person who leaves groups can not be called human.Communication is a bridge to build interpersonal relationships. If the world lacks communication, it will be an unimaginable world.Therefore, everyone has to communicate with each other, and the purpose of communication is to successfully accept the information which send out by the other party. Communication can be divided into two categories.The first is that the message sent by oneself is successfully received by the other one.The second is that one's own information is not received by the other party for some reasons. We call the first type effective communication, while the second type is ineffective or failed communication. There are various kinds of organizations in society, such as universities, companies or governments. Each group has its own division of labor, so there must be corresponding management. The transmission of information is the most important form of management, and the transmission of information mainly depends on effective communication. 1 The advantages of effective communication 1.1 Enhance cohesion Effective communication can not only improve the management of the leadership, but also enable groups of all levels to participate in the management decision-making. This way can effectively reduce the generation of unreasonable management, enhance everyone's team awareness, and really let everyone intergrate into the team. The effect that can be achieved is that everyone can actively participate in the construction of this team to make their own strength. Then in a disguised way, the team or organization can develop positively and upwardly, so that the team can develop benignly. 1.2 Delivery and share information In the process of management, the transmission of information is very important, and the transmission of information mainly depends on communication. Everyone plays different roles on different occasions. On the one hand, we need to receive information from the top.On the other hand, we should play the role of transmitting information from the bottom. The role is changing, but the information will not change, so this requires that we can really understand the meaning of information and can not change it according to our own subjective thinking. What effective communication does is to transmit and share these information,making everyone's ideas are unified and consistent. Only in this way can we truly achieve the integration of the whole team. 2 Major obstacles to effective communication 2.1 Obstacles arising from different levels of management In a managed team, communication between superiors and subordinates is different. When facing of superiors, we must listen to them and really know what they mean. We should not deliberately guess what they mean. But there will be many people who will only choose to receive information from their superiors without thinking. Communication is mutual, we can send some of our thoughts back to the superiors, so that they will know that they are a thinking person and a person who know how to communicate. When faced with subordinates, many people often use the command tone to convey information, which hinders effective communication, and subordinates can not very well convey their ideas back. Therefore, it will not become an effective communication. 2.2 Lack of team awareness and communication awareness In the process of management, there will always be some people who lack team consciousness. In these people's consciousness, they do not want or are unwilling to communicate with others. There are many reasons for this phenomenon, such as some people are very shy and unwilling to communicate while others will not want to communicate, they may just want to give me something to do, and do not want to participate in management and communication. These factors can seriously hinder effective communication. 3 Ways to achieve effective communication 3.1 Respect others and make transpositional consideration Respect is the most basic principle in human communication. This respect includes many things, such as the respect from superiors to subordinates, or the respect from subordinates to superiors and so on. I believe that the vast majority of people will be able to achieve the respect of subordinates to superiors, but the same is true for subordinates. Effective communication is two-way. When you maintain a disrespectful attitude towards the other people, they will equally reluctant to communicate with you. Secondly, what we should do is to change our position and think more about each other. Then the other side will also think more about you,which is mutually reinforcing. 3.2 Enhance communication awareness and ability Communication consciousness and ability are not inherent, they are all exercised bit by bit. So we can do more communication training, which can quickly enhance the awareness and ability of communication. We can also properly increase communication gatherings, so that more people can be integrated into communication. Then we will have communication awareness in the future management process, and will actively communicate in the management process. In this way, the team will become stronger and more united. 4 Conclusion Nowadays, more and more attention is paid to communication. Communication is becoming increasingly important in management, and now it becomes a learning. So how to communicate effectively in management is the theme of this paper. This paper first explains why effective communication is becoming more and more important in management. Secondly, it also analyses the obstacles that hinder our effective communication. It is because of the existence of different kinds of obstacles that our effective communication becomes difficult. Finally, it discusses the methods to improve effective communication in management. These methods can effectively enhance our awareness and ability of communication, and can help people effectively communicate in the real sense in the future. Personal competence is an important aspect, but how to effectively express what you have done is also a very important aspect. Life is still a long way to go. Our roles are also switching between managers and managed people. How to adapt to various environments and forms of communication are different from man to man. We should learn to be flexible. Only in this way can we maximize our effective communication.
