　　The weather is hot in mid summer in July. The scorching sun made the earth scorching hot. A basin of water was poured onto the ground, and the thirsty earth immediately drank the water clean.
　　The scorching heat was unbearable, so my mother took me and my sister to swim. As soon as I entered, I saw a group of children plopping into the water. They swim happily in the cold water like fish, enjoying the caress of the pool water. I picked up the Swim ring and went into the water. I saw my friend swimming alone with a Swim ring. They greet me, and I also greet them. I was very scared when I just got into the water, and I only heard my upper and lower teeth shaking and gurgling. 　　We arrived in Huizhou in our father’s car. When I arrived in Huizhou, my father took me on a speedboat. The pilot said, “We’re going to Mermaid Island.” At first, the pilot drove very fast. In the speedboat, I felt so cool! I saw the little fish jumping up with the waves.

　　Arriving at Mermaid Island, there were people taking photos, some climbing rocks, and others picking up shells by the island’s edge.

　　Finally, my father gave me a beautiful shell necklace. I happily rode the speedboat back to the hotel with my parents.

　　This is my happy summer vacation time.

　　In July, my partner and I learned to swim with the coach. At first, we did Warming up on the shore, and then learned to do breaststroke in the water. After learning it, we took a floating board, tied a plastic board to our body, and swam around in the shallow water. I swam ten classes and finally learned how to swim.

　　I also learned to play basketball. Every morning at 8:00, I went to the Basketball court to learn how to shoot, pass, dribble and shoot. We played together. Every day, our team won. We were so happy.
