Unit 8 In the Emergency Room Reading: Our Five Senses

教学目标:1、学生能够理解拓展阅读故事。
2、学生通过学习拓展阅读材料能够谈论身体部位及感官.
教学重点: 通过学习理解本故事的内容,谈论、总结身体部分和五种感官是如何运作的以 及它们的重要性。
教学难点: 身体部分和五种感官是如何运作的。
教学方法:讲授法,多媒体电教手段
教学准备:视频、PPT。
Step1. Warm up: Greetings and talk about First Aid.
T: Class begins! Boys and girls! Now let’s talk about the First Aid。 Here are some questions:
1. Someone has a nosebleed, what should you do?
2. Someone is choking, what should you do?
3. Someone has a burn, what should you do?
4. Someone has a broken bone, what should you do?
S: I should ask the person to sit up straight and lean the head forward。 Pinch the soft part of the nose for 10 minutes。

此处热身活动的目的是让学生说一说如何进行急救,复习本单元的情态动词should的用法。这样的复习为对课文的学习打了一个铺垫.
Step 2. Presentation:watch a video.
T: Our body parts are very important。 Why? Let’s watch a video and see how they work。
T: What is this video talking about?
Ss: It's talking about our five senses.
T: Can you tell me some words about senses

学生观看光盘,并找到与感官有关的单词(感官、身体部位、感觉).学生第一次听故事并对感官和身体部位有了一个初步的了解。
Step 3. Read the story。
T: Our body parts are very important。 We must protect them。 If our body parts get hurt, we will be in trouble。 How can they make our senses? What can we feel? Let's open your books and learn more about our senses.
(Ss read the story together。 Answer some questions about the story。)

学生通过泛读文章。让学生初步理解五种感官。
Step 4。 Learn the story and draw the mind—map.
1. Read the story again and draw the mind—map.
2. Retell this story。
学生通过精读文章.让学生深入理解五种感官与相应的身体部位如何运作的。通过教师的指导,让学生理解文章的大意并画出思维导图.
Step 5。 Write about our five senses。
T: You know how body parts make our senses. Now we’ll write a paragraph about our senses。 What can we write at first?
S1: We can write the instructions about our senses。
T: How can we write about the instruction?

通过教师的指导,让学生了解如何自己组织语言写出文章,在最后展示学生的习作。
