When I was in primary school, the teacher asked us what is the dream? My dream is to be a scientist, because I think it is standing on the peak of science and technology, they are knowledgeable and wise. Now, I graduated from Yunnan Minzu University , majoring in organic chemistry. The scientific study of organic chemistry study for 3 years and the deeper yearning inspired me to challenge a doctorate in chemistry. Because I want to become a successful scientist.
As a graduate student, I choose the Phytochemistry, it is a cross discipline formed from the combination of organic chemistry and botany and the main content of the research is plant metabolites of the composition, structure, distribution of science, and traditional Chinese medicine active ingredients, plant classification systems have close relationship. Phytochemistry is full of mystery, for example a strain of living life in hiding hundreds of thousands of unknown compounds, it needs to we step by step to separation, purification, chemical structure elucidation, find out the medicinal value and actual application. When we put all this done, we will feel a great sense of accomplishment.
In the 3 years of study experiment, the amount of knowledge is more abundant, the experimental skills are sublimation. From the separation of simple compounds to complex compounds, a step by step learning, step by step to master, a step by step growth. As a result, I fell in love with thinking, thinking about the problems existing in the experiment, thinking about the experiment will not have more solutions, thinking about the use of this compound. Now skilled in the use of a variety of confidential equipment, and in the plant chemistry has its own results.
Accumulating these valuable experiences, I am preparing myself for a career in scientific research. Further research on Phytochemistry. Having carefully read the content of the graduate studies and on-going research programs at China Pharmaceutical University, I believe that CPU is the best place for me to be. I am confident in that my diverse research experiences together with a firm commitment to Chemistry have merited me to be qualified to undertake doctoral candidate study at the China Pharmaceutical University.
