Fast reading1. Give the students three minutes to read articles 12 at Page 12 and then ask them two questions. Was the author addicted to taking drugs? What was the result?2. Give the students four minutes to read the passage at Page 13 and then ask then to do the exercise 5.设计意图：让学生带着问题去快速阅读，从而提高学生阅读的针对性，以培养学生的快速阅读能力，从整体上把握文章内容。Step 3. Detail reading1. Ask students to read the passage again. This time ask them to read it more slowly and carefully and try to find the topic sentences of each paragraph.设计意图：通过认真阅读，使学生获取文章细节内容，培养他们阅读理解能力。2.
