一、区域篇

三里屯有着闻名海内外的三里屯酒吧街，79个国家的大使馆及联合国开发计划署等7个联合国驻华机构。几乎所有在京的外国人和北京白领都慕名来过这里，是北京高人气的聚集地，也是北京最国际化的区域。
三里屯左侧为东大桥路，北侧紧临工体北路，东侧为南三里屯路，东北侧是南三里屯路与工人体育场北路的交汇点。随着太古广场的开业，连同雅秀、3.3、SOHO项目以及酒吧街，周边遍布大量商业，成为商业聚集的地方，而工体北路则是北京横贯东西的主要大道之一。
在北京市2008年三里屯规划蓝图中，三里屯地区将与国贸、燕莎等东部商圈形成三角型的互补，也就是说，三里屯将建成北京最具国际化的时尚休闲消费区。
Location
Sanlitun – Beijing’s Liveliest Area
Sanlitun is famous both in China and abroad for its “Bar Street”, as well as for hosting the embassies of 79 countries and seven United Nations offices. The area is Beijing’s liveliest and most internationalized district, possessing an almost magnetic quality to most of the foreigners and upwardly mobile in Beijing.

To the west side of Sanlitun is Dongdaqiao Road and to the north is Gongti North Road. The east side has Sanlitun South Street and its northeast side is the intersection of Sanlitun South and Gongti. With the opening of Swire’s Sanlitun Village, connecting Yaxiu Market, Building 3.3, the SOHO project and Bar Street, there is a dense concentration of large-scale commercial projects nearby, to add to the fact that Gongti North Road is already one of Beijing’s main east-west traffic arteries.

In the 2008 Beijing Municipality’s Urban Plan, Sanlitun district forms a complementary triangle with the other major commercial centers in east Beijing – Guomao and Lufthansa.

Bars: On the east side of Gongti North Road in Chaoyang District there is a street over 260 meters in length and 1648 sq. m. in area. It hosts over 70 bars. (For specific names of the bars, see the map to the side). Many people from around the world gather there, especially at night, when the bar street becomes the densest entertainment site for Beijingers, non-Beijingers and foreigners and the most famous of Beijing’s bar streets.

Sanlitun SOHO; the new mark of fashionable and convenient living
Sanlitun SOHO is located on the south side of Chaoyang District’s Gongti North Road, to the west of Sanlitun South Bar Street, and near Beijing’s important international embassy district and Bar Street. It is the core retail, office and residential block in the entire commercial district of Sanlitun.

Upon completion, Sanlitun SOHO will comprise of five shopping malls and nine office/apartment buildings of varying heights. A roller skating rink and outdoor waterscaped courtyard will link the malls, forming what will be the liveliest pedestrian shopping street and leisure square in Beijing.

Transportation
Sanlitun SOHO neighbors the central locations of CBD, Lufthansa, Dongzhimen, and Chaowai districts. It is a hub for transportation. Located in the Sanlitun commerical center, near East 3rd Ring Road, it is 30 minutes to Beijing’s International Airport and 15 minutes from Beijing International Trade Center by car.
The nearby train lines is 500 meters from Gonti Beilu Station of Line 10 (opened on July 2008)

Public Area
l Each entry point is conceived and designed as a transition space from the active and bustling urban street-scape beyond;
l The design experience continues through to the lift lobbies and walkway spaces leading to all units, providing a consistent and ultimately relaxing environment from main entrance to a resident's doorstep;
l Quality materials offer style and bring quiet sophistication to the entire environment.

Apartments
· Balancing a rich experience with a precision of planning, all standard units begin with exceedingly well-planned spaces;
· Drawing from modern design principles of function and utility, each unit’s layout is coupled with a modern and sophisticated material and textural palette;
· Living and dining spaces share a dramatic framed view of the cityscape beyond and are subtly connected to the kitchen area via an integrated sliding panel system;

公共区
l 软织品的优雅、象牙色大瓷砖被广泛运用，突出了温暖的感觉；
l 大堂休息厅沙发与前台家具使用的磨砂不锈钢边缘与象牙色皮质，都增强了这一感觉，繁花似锦的中国风，是大堂的主要基调。

公寓

A Contemporary Version of Classical
· Tower B is ideal for those who have a preference for understated elegance;
· The basic concept behind this tower was to generate warmth and a sense of contemporariness through a neutral, yet bold palette;
· We are able to achieve this by using light wall surfaces, warmed up and contrasted by wood, which is used extensively throughout for the flooring and the main architectural details;
· In this neutral ‘canvass’ the introduction of black elements acts to reinforce the basic chromatic scheme and to identify the features within the space;
· The design of the space allows a comfortable and natural flow within the apartments’ different areas and functions; The interior design of this tower also grounds the international ambience of the surrounding area with tasteful Chinese elements. These subtle Chinese cultural references, introduced throughout the project, create an ‘abstract feeling’ to de-materialize the space.

Public Spaces
· For Tower B Lobby the design we conceived introduces a presence of warmth and textural combination of materials;
· Ivory stone like large sized ceramic tiles are used extensively to create a uniformed flooring background, accented by smoke-brushed stainless steel trimming and by the ivory tone leather used for the sleek lounge sofas and for the reception counter upholstery.

Apartments
· The concept behind the design has been to create a contemporary, light and airy space, where the different functions have a comfortable flow;
· There is a distinctive separation between the ‘active’ zone and the intimate ‘quilt’ zone;
· The wall finishing for the overall space is a light off white color in paint finish, warmed up by the use of wood parquetry flooring all throughout the apartment, and contrasted by elements of black glass, introduced in a very small proportion, as architectural accents for some key areas;
· Your comfort is only heightened while gazing out at the city views through the apartment’s expansive windows.

Penthouses
· The penthouse design carries the same features as the typical apartment, but has an uplifted feel all throughout, given by the quality of its architectural presence;
· The ceiling heights at around 4 meters and the verticality of the tall full height doors and of the glass partitions which encase the central outdoor “courtyard”;
· Glass partitions are another feature of the penthouse: located in correspondence with the main entrance and in between the active zone and the quilt zone, acts as a natural light bridge corridor that leads to the bedrooms area, and outside, through a spiral staircase, it leads to the roof garden;
· The roof garden is designed using light stones as ceramic floor tiles, and horizontal long white box planters to separate the space and introduce a soft greenery background;
