To the users who are familiar with the NAS setup, please refer to the corresponding chapters directly.1.1硬件安装(略) Hardware Install (NA)1.2软件设立Software Configure在完毕硬件安装并检查系统状态正常之后，请按照快速安装向导来配置您的NAS。After checking the system status normally as above, please follow the quick install wizard to configure your NAS.1 进入快速安装向导Accessing quick install wizard您可以通过下面任意一种途径进入快速安装向导：You can access quick install wizard by the following means alternatively:a) 请将网络伺服器连接到您电脑所在的局域网中，接上电源，之后您的电脑会自动提醒找到一个新的装置，然后只需双击mediaserver的托盘图标，就会自动弹出登录窗口。Power on your NAS which attach to your LAN, will auto prompt find a new device, then just double click the tray icon of mediaserver, then will auto popup the login windows. 假如你不能看到mediaserver的托盘图标，请打开网上邻居，找到mediaserver的图标并双击它，就会自动弹出登录窗口。If you cant see the tray icon of mediaserver, please open Network Neighborhood, find the icon of mediaserver and double click it, then will auto popup the login windows.或者b) 打开您的网页浏览器，在浏览器的地址栏中键入“ http:/NAS ”， 其中的“NAS ”代表网络伺服器的名字。 Open a web browser and enter “http:/NAS” into the address field in the browser, where “NAS” is the name of your NAS. 在通过以上任意一种方式操作之后，系统将弹出登录窗口，请输入如下的默认用户名和密码：After popup the login windows, enter the default user name and password.默认的用户名: admin 密码: admin 提醒: 您NAS服务器名称的出厂默认设立是“NAS”。假如您改变过它，请输入相应的改变后的名称来代替“NAS”。 Note: The name of your NAS with factory default settings is “NAS”. If you change it, please input the changed name to substitute it accordingly.然后您将进入本网络伺服器的管理配置页面，并可以使用快速安装向导来完毕软件的设立。Then you enter the LAN SERVER configuration page and can access the quick install wizard.提醒:l 假如系统所在局域网中有DHCP服务器存在，网络伺服器将在启动时自动从DHCP服务器获取IP地址;l 假如系统所在局域网中没有DHCP服务器存在，网络伺服器将使用默认的IP地址192.168.0.240启动，并对外提供DHCP服务，分派的IP地址范围从192.168.0.1到192.168.0.239。l 换句话说，您可以将电脑与网络伺服器通过网线直接连接，并可以使用默认的IP地址192.168.0.240对网络伺服器进行访问。Note:l If there is a DHCP SERVER existed in the LAN, the LAN Server will get the IP address automatically from the DHCP SERVER when start-up;l If there is no DHCP SERVER existed in the LAN, the LAN Server will start up with the default IP address 192.168.0.240 and provide the DHCP service with fixed IP addresses range from 192.168.0.1 to 192.168.0.239.l In other words, you can connect the PC to LAN Server directly, and can use the default IP address 192.168.0.240 to access it.2完毕快速安装向导Complete quick install wizard当您已进入快速安装向导的网页后，请按照指示完毕设立。单击“下一步”继续。When you have entered quick install wizard page, follow the instructions to complete the settings. Click Next to continue. 第1步.输入系统名称，并单击“下一步”。Enter the server name and click Next.第2步.设立新的系统管理员帐号或选择使用系统本来的管理员帐号。单击“下一步”继续。Enter a new administrator account or select to use the original account. Click Next to continue.第3步.请根据您的所在位置选择时区，并手动输入日期和时间，或选择与Internet时间服务器同步来自动输入系统的日期和时间。单击“下一步”继续。Select the time zone of your location or enter the date and time manually. You can also select to synchronize the time of NAS with an Internet time server automatically. If your FTP client or PC does not support Unicode, e.g. Windows 95, 98, ME OS, select the language the same as the OS of your PC here in order to view the files and directories on the server properly.第5步.请设立外接盘的使用方式：）当一个全新的外接盘被安装在网络伺服器上时，请选择“立即格式化硬盘”，并单击完毕以格式化该新硬盘；）选择“使用现有硬盘（不做格式化）”，然后单击完毕，将可以立即使用已经包含数据格式化好的硬盘。When a new hard disk is installed in NAS, select “Initialize the hard disk now” and click Finish to format and initialize the disk. Or， select “Do not initialize hard disk which ready to use” and click Finish to use contain data hard disk as it is.警告:选择磁盘格式化操作，将会清除磁盘中的所有数据。因此，请在该操作之前，保证已有的数据都已被妥善备份。All disk data will be cleared after disk initialization.提醒: 为了您的方便，您可以直接使用已经包含数据的硬盘。本网络伺服器能辨认多种文献系统： NTFS、 FAT16、 FAT32、EXT3 。因此您可以直接安装好您已有的硬盘，然后就可以立即通过NAS访问其中的数据。 Note: For your convenience. You can directly use a hard disk which contains data. This LAN Server can recognize multiple file system: NTFS, FAT16, FAT32, EXT3. So you can just attach your hard disk then can access it through this NAS. 第6步.当磁盘被格式化时，根据您外接盘容量大小的不同，系统也许需要几分钟的时间。在上述环节完毕之后，系统会规定重新启动，请选择“拟定”并耐心等待。当系统重新启动后，您可以通过刷新页面，来确认它是否准备就绪。NAS will ask you to restart system, please confirm it and wait patiently when the disk is being formatted or the system restart. When formatting is required, it may take a few minutes depending on the capacity of your hard drive. For example, you can simple map nass share folders to your network drives for data sharing and accessing.重要功能和应用分为以下两类：The main operations divide two categories: 1) 管理NAS服务器Manage NAS可以通过下面三种方法中的任何一种来访问网络伺服器管理页面WebGui，并通过它来管理您的NAS服务器： You can access WebGui administration page to Manage LAN Server by the three methods:a) 使用UPnP自动寻找Using UPNP automatic finding打开网上邻居，找到名为mediaserver的图标并双击它来登录管理页面。Open Network Neighborhood, find the icon of mediaserver and double click it to login.b) 使用名称服务Using name service打开网络浏览器，并在地址栏输入“http:/NAS”来访问登录，其中“NAS”是系统出厂时的默认名字。假如您曾改变过它，请使用改变过的名字来代替它。Open a web browser and enter http:/NAS to login. “NAS” is the factory default name of your NAS, should substitute it with changed name If you ever change it.c) 直接使用IP地址Using IP Address directly假如您电脑所在的局域网没有DHCP服务器中存在，或者您使用网线将电脑和NAS直接连接，这时可以在网络浏览器的地址栏直接输入“”来登录，其中“192.168.0.240”是本网络伺服器系统默认使用的IP地址。If there is no DHCP SERVER existed in the LAN, or connect the PC to NAS directly, Open a web browser and enter to login, where “192.168.0.240” is default IP address of your LAN Server.2) 使用NAS的服务Use NAS Services u 文献服务：提供了方便和安全的文献服务器功能，支持中央数据管理。用户可以被给予是否有权访问网络共享和分享重要档案。具体情况请参阅第5章。u File Server provides convenient and secure file server functions that support central data management. Users can be granted with the right to access network share and share important files. Please refer to Chapter 7. 第2章通过WebGui管理网络伺服器Manage LAN Server with WebGui简朴来说，你只需要通过WebGui这一网页界面来管理您的网络伺服器，和访问任何普通网页同样。除了网络浏览器，不需要再安装任何其它的软件。该管理页面分为以下几个部分：In brief, you just need WebGui to manage your LAN Server like accessing any web pages, no any extra software is required. The WebGui divides into the following parts:1. 系统设立 System这组设立重要是关于网络伺服器的通用设立，其中涉及安装向导，系统信息，系统名称，管理员帐号，语言编码，日期时间等设立。This group of configuration mainly used to setting IP address of NAS and the DDNS service.2. 网络配置Network Configuration这组设立重要用于设立系统的IP地址和DDNS服务。This group of configuration mainly used to setting IP address of NAS and the DDNS service.3. 共享管理Share Management 这组设立重要用于设立用户认证模式，创建或修改共享用户，创建或修改共享，浏览共享列表的所有信息。This group of configuration is used in configuring Share mode, creating or modifying Share user, creating or modifying Shares, browsing all information of the share list.4. UPnP媒体服务 UPnP Media Server 这组设立重要用于配置媒体服务器的名称和指定分享媒体所在的目录。This group of configuration mainly used to co figurate the media server name and media share directory.5. FTP服务 FTP Server 这组配置重要用于设立匿名用户及其共享目录，创建新的FTP用户和共享，浏览已存在的FTP共享的信息。This group of configuration is used for setting anonymous user and its sharing list, creating new FTP user and its sharing list, browsing the existed FTP users information.6. 设备管理Device Configuration这组配置重要用于对设备的管理和操作，涉及：分区管理、硬盘管理、USB设备的管理。This group of configuration is used in setting the sharing list and sharing mode, browsing NFS sharing list information.7. 下载中心Downloader这组配置重要用于对BT下载的管理和操作，涉及：添加BT下载任务、BT下载设立、BT任务列表。This group configuration for BT download on the management and operation, including: BT download add tasks, BT download settings, BT task list.8. 系统工具Tools这组工具重要完毕一些系统维护的功能：系统重启，软件升级，恢复出厂配置，系统日记等工具。This group of configuration includes: Reboot, Upgrade firmware, restore to factory default settings, hard disk utility.第3章系统设立System Setting3.1 安装向导Setup Wizard 点击“系统设立-安装向导”，系统将引导您一步步完毕网络伺服器的通用设立：系统名称，管理员帐号，日期时间，文献名的编码，磁盘使用。Click “System- Setup Wizard”, it will guide you step-by-step to complete the general settings of LAN Server: Server Name, Administrator Account, Time, Filename Encoding, Setup Disk.3.2系统信息General Info 点击“系统设立-系统信息”，将会显示系统的基本信息：系统名称，工作组，日期和时间，IP地址，系统已运营工作时间，C PU负载情况，和软件版本信息。Click “System- General Info”, it will display the basic information of the system: host name, workgroup, system time, IP address, up time, CPU load, and software version. 3.3系统名称Server Name 点击“系统设立-系统名称”，将提醒您设定系统的名称，请为您的NAS选择一个独特的名称，以便于在本地网络中辨认该网络伺服器系统，就像用名字标记您的计算机同样。Click “System- Server Name”, will let you set the server name which must a unique name for your LAN Server for the ease of identification within the local network, just like your computers name. 3.4管理员帐号Web Admin 点击“系统设立-管理员帐号” ，将让您设定系统管理员的帐号，这是用来登录WebGui管理页面的，这一系统唯一的管理界面。本系统只允许一个管理员帐号存在。假如您忘掉了管理员帐号，可以通过长按复位按钮（时间长于秒），来将所有的系统设立手动还原为出厂默认值。Click “System- Web Admin”, will let you set the NASs administrator account, which is used to login WebGui, the only manage entrance. The system only allows one administrator account existed. If you forget administrator account, please do manual restore to factory defaults setting by long pressing the reset button.3.5 语言编码Encoding 点击“系统设立-编码语言” ，将让您选择NAS用来显示文献和目录名的语言编码。Click “System- Encoding”, will let you select the language of NAS used to display files and directories.3.6日期时间Time 点击“系统设立-日期时间”，将让您根据您的位置，选择设定系统的时区、日期和时间。假如时间设立不对的，也许会发生以下问题：Click “System- Time”, will let you set the date, time, and time zone of NAS according to your location. If the settings are incorrect, the following problems may occur:u 通过网页浏览器来访问NAS或存储文献时，显示的时间也许不对的。When using a web browser to access the NAS or save a file, the display time of the action will be incorrect.u 事件日记中显示的事件时间，将与实际事件发生时的真实时间不一致。The time of event log displayed will be inconsistent with the actual time when an action occurs.第4章网络配置Network Configuration4.1 IP地址IP Address 点击“网络配置- IP地址”，系统将让您选择以下两种方法中的一种来完毕系统的TCP/IP设立。Click “Network Config- IP Address”, it will let you select one of the following two methods to configure the TCP/IP settings of your NAS.u 自动获取IP地址通过DHCP:假如在您的网络中存在DHCP服务器，系统将自动通过DHCP协议获取IP地址和相关的设立： IP地址、子网掩码、 DNS服务器和默认网关，并且将用灰色显示（表白相关参数具有只读属性，不可以被修改）。Automatic IP via DHCP: Obtain IP address settings automatically via DHCP protocol If there is a DHCP Server in your network; NAS will use DHCP protocol to retrieve the IP address and related information automatically, while the retrieved IP address, subnet mask, DNS server and Default Gateway will be showed with grey(read-only).使用固定IP地址:使用固定的IP地址来进行网络连接，需要输入系统使用的固定IP地址、子网掩码、 DNS地址和默认网关。(注意：您设的IP地址必须与您的路由器是在同一个网段上，例如：您的路由器IP是192.168.0.1, 那么你的NAS的IP地址要设为192.168.0.2-192.168.0.254之间的任意一个IP地址，当你设成固定IP后，你的IP地址一定要记住，由于你会发现你现在立即输入HTTP：/NAS就进不了了。就是说你一设定完就要进去的话就必须用您设的IP地址登陆进去了。比如你设的固定IP为192.168.0.36,那么你就要输入HTTP：/192.168.0.36才可以进去。由于你NAS刚接到路由器上，路由器就已经分派了一个地址给了NAS，此时你又去人为的改了路由器分派给它的IP，路由器要重新搜索同一网络里的所有电脑，重新分派地址。所以必须有一个过程，直到你去ping NAS通了为止，就可以用http:/nas进去了。 注意：这里说的NAS是你没有去更改主机名才使用的，假如改了主机名就要输入相应的主机名) Static IP: Use fixed IP address for network connection, enter fixed IP address, subnet mask, DNS address and default gateway.( Note: You need to set up the IP address of your router is in the same segment, for example: your routers IP is 192.168.0.1, then your IP address to the NAS set to 192.168.0.2 - -192.168.0.254 Between any IP address, when you set a fixed IP, the IP address you must keep in mind that you will find that as soon as you enter HTTP: / / NAS has not entered.
