大作文第二段 2023-12-8 1. My view on the Dragon Boat Festival When it comes to Dragon Boat Festival, most of people know it as a Chinese traditional festival. It is widely conceived that Chinese people have distinct ways to celebrate it in diverse regions of China. Are you intrigued to know what the ways might be? As is well-known, this festival is in honor of a prominent poet--Qu yuan who is so patriotic for his motherland that he committed suicide after failing to guard/shield his hometown from collapse by throwing himself into the river of Miluo. In South China, Dagon-boat festival is celebrated in the way of holding the boat racing competition and eating zongzi. In North China, we often light up some fragrant plant to expel the evil spirits and diseases in Chinese tradition. As for kids, they wear colorful strings on wrists and adults also drink some home-made liquor on this special day. Of course, wherever you are, whatever you do, the top priority is to get together with our families and friends. In addition to paying tribute to Qu yuan, we are expected to value/cherish each other, appreciate others and extend our heartfelt gratitude to the beloved ones. 2. Without doubts/ undoubtedly, the most eye-catching activity is the Dragon-boat competition, which appeals to thousands upon thousands of people to enjoy the match. Are you curious of how exciting it is? Come and join us. 3.In fact, I harbor the view that celebrating the Dragon Boat Festival has two kinds of meanings. The first is The Dragon Boat Festival is to commemorate QuYuan who is an upright poet. He drowned himself in the Mi Luo River, where the local residents paddled boats out to retrieve his body and then to scare the fish away, which is said to be the origin of the Dragon Boat Festival .Besides, the festival is having a wonderful time with your families and friends, you can talk together, laugh together with your families. It is also marked by eating “Zongzi’’, at that day, many people will paddle the boat competing, and a lot of audience will cheer around the river。 4. My view on Dragon Boat Festival As one of the most important festival, The Dragon Boat Festival is celebrating on the fifth day of the fifth lunar moth. At that moment, people will hold dragon boat racing, which accompany with intense competition and fervent cheering, I think it’s quite wonderful. Furthermore, people will eat a kind of traditional food zongzi, a pyramid-shaped dumpling made of glutinous rice wrapped in bamboo or reed leaves. Besides, hanging on a special plant named Ai, not only can make the air cleaner, but can drive off the pest and the bad fortunate. Also, drinking realgar wine is necessary in that day. 5.) Dragon Boat Festival (body) Dragon Boat festival is a quite old festival in China, it can be date back to the Warring States. There are amount of origins about it, but the majority of people hold that Dragon Boat festival is celebrate to in memory of QuYuan, who was a loyalist in the past. He had a bad result thank to others calumny, at last, he could n’t bear the humiliation and end his life by jumping in the river. Every year the May 5th, people celebrate Dragon Boat festival in all kinds of ways and also have a variety of activities. The most typical food is a pyramid-shaped dumpling made of glutinous rice wrapped in bamboo or reed leaves, which were called “zongzi” in China. The most representative activity is boating. Probably, it is the most eye-catching activity held throughout the entire country on this holiday. Players endeavor to drive/spare no effort to drive their Dagon-boat forward as fast as they could and act upon the beats of thundering drums. All the above is viewed as the conventions in memory of a patriotic poet named Quyuan. This festival with its corresponding traditions remain unchangeable/ the same as the first celebration thousands of years ago. 7. The story of this colorful festival concerns a famous Chinese scholar-statesman named Chu Yuan who, some three centuries before the birth of Christ, served the King of Chu,during the Warring States period. As a loyal minister,Chu Yuan at first enjoyed the full confidence and respect of his sovereign. Eventually, through the intrigues of his rivals, he was discredits. Probably the most exciting and interesting aspect of the festival is the racing of the Dragon Boats. These races not only symbolize the people‘s attempt to save Chu Yuan, they also demonstrate the Chinese virtues of cooperation and teamwork. Another activity of the Festival is the making and eating of a kind of dumpling called Tzungtzu . When it became known that Chu Yuan was gone forever, the people, living along the river, threw cooked rice into the water as a sacrifice(祭品) to their dead hero. They wrapped rice in bamboo leaves, and stuffed it with ham, beans, bean paste, salted egg yokes, sausages, nuts, and/or vegetables. 8.
