Sports
Advantages:
Exercise gives me a feeling of accomplishment.
Individual sports boost our confidence in ourselves / train self-discipline / help us discover our own worth and potential.
Doing exercise is a good way of keeping us healthy. Research shows that getting plenty of exercise makes the heart beat faster and the lungs work harder. This strengthens the heart, reduces the chance of heart attack, and helps lower blood pressure.
Exercise makes us fitter and helps us relax.
Also some people play sports because they need to lose extra weight.
Another reason why people need to play sports might be that a lot of people nowadays find themselves under a lot of pressure. Doing sports can help them to relax.
When I play football with others I can make friends with those who come from different departments.
Meanwhile I can learn how to forgive others’ mistakes during the match, which will help me to become more endurable in the daily life.
Besides, I can practice my ability to work efficiently with my fellows, because it seems that we can win the game only if we can work together in a powerful team.
Doing sports can enhance our physical (mental) development. It can keep fit and make us staying in health.
I’ll learn some self-defense skills from it.
By doing sports, I also learn how to communicate and interact with others.

Disadvantages:
Sports can also bring us a lot of trouble. This is especially true when we cannot plan our activities properly. Too much exercise may make us exhausted. Too hard training may hurt us or even make us sick.
We may hurt other players or ourselves if we are not careful enough when participating in sports activities. What‘s more, excessive or severe training can do harm to our health.
Sometimes, it is time-consuming.
Extreme sports can be really adventurous / risky.
