Welcome to the unit
一、 教材分析
本单元的话题是谈论职业。围绕话题用What does your father / mother do? Where does he / she work? How does he / she go to work?来询问和描述职业;用What are you going to be ?来谈论未来的职业。本节课是这一单元的第一课时,是本单元话题和句型的导入部分,通过设计的对话呈现本单元的核心词汇和句型。
二、 教学目标
Language goals :
1、 掌握和运用head teacher 、factory worker postman businessman fisherman pilot
Scientist coach 等职业名词。
2、 能够用What does he/she do ? Are you going to be a/an _____ one day ?Where does he/she work ? How does he/she go to work ?等句型就职业话题进行讨论。
Feeling goals
1、 尊重和理解不同职业的人和他们从事的职业。
2、 树立正确的职业观。
三、 教学重点和难点
1、 学习head teacher factory worker postman businessman fisherman pilot
scientist coach等职业名词。
2、 学生能用重点句型What does he/she do ?谈论职业。
四、 教学策略
英语学习的目的重在更好地运用语言于实际的交流之中,单调的重复课文内容或机械地操练吸引不了我们的学生。针对学生形象思维强于他们的抽象思维能力,为达到交流的目的,我在课堂上尽量创设情景,创造语言交流的环境,启发学生表达与具体情景相适应的思想,达到用英语交流的目的。根据教材及学生的年龄特点,利用多种教学形式,丰富课堂教学内容,激发学生学习的求知欲,提高学习的兴趣。同时,采用图片、多媒体课件等直观教具进行教学,使教学内容做到图文并茂,化繁为简,学生学起来通俗易懂。

由最后一组学生的对话引出问题。

把本节课的重点句型编成一段对话,让学生操练,既能巩固所学知识,又能活跃课堂气氛,把课堂推向一个高潮。
