The author has made full use of the symbolist writing, and by the literary genre fairy tales and the writing style reflects the various symbol passes through the whole work. Its the most important reason that this work is so charming. The Little Prince is not a simple fairy tale, but a philosophical novel because the author has devoted his philosophy of life experience to it so that there is full of deep philosophical connotations and aesthetic significance in it, This article trys to seek the symbolic meaning of this work from three factors: the overall symbols, the imageries symbols and the relationship the concretes symbolic images, based on analyzing the author Sain_Exupery life experience and the background of the times.Key word: The Little Prince； Symbol ； Symbolic meaningIn literary history，Antoine de Sain_Exupery was a special writer.
