11、r two men. They had rushed up to her while she was having a picnic at the edge of a forest with her children and tried to steal her handbag. In the struggle, the strap broke and, with the bag in their possession, both men started running through the trees. Mrs Sterling got so angry that she ran afte

12、r them. She was soon out of breath, but she continued to run. When she caught up with them, she saw that they had sat down and were going through the contents of the bag, so she ran straight at them. The men got such a fright that they dropped the bag and ran away. The strap needs mending, said Mrs

13、Sterling later, but they did not steal anything.Lesson45 A clear conscience 问心无愧The whole village soon learnt that a large sum of money had been lost. Sam Benton, the local butcher, had lost his wallet while taking his savings to the post-office. Sam was sure that the wallet must have been found by

14、one of the villagers, but it was not returned to him. Three months passed, and then one morning, Sam found his wallet outside his front door. It had been wrapped up in newspaper and it contained half the money he had lost, together with a note which said: A thief, yes, but only 5o per cent a thief!

15、Two months later, some more money was sent to Sam with another note: Only 25 per cent a thief now! In time, all Sams money was paid back in this way. A gust of wind swept the bed off the roof and sent it crashing into the courtyard below. The young man did n

25、ot wake up until the bed had struck the ground. Although the bed was smashed to pieces, the man was miraculously unhurt. When he woke up, he was still on the mattress. 47、条龙,贸工一体化,交XX市畜牧业和肉制品深加工推向集团化、商品化、专业化、现代化的新水平。同时,拟通过五年时间,进行肉制品的系列开发和综合利用,以达到增值、增收、提高综合经济效益,积极参与国内外市场竞争的目的。2、项目建设的理由(1)适应市场需求变化的要求我国是个肉类消费大国,市场潜力巨大。随着人民生活水平的不断提高,生活节奏的加快,人们对肉食消费的需求越来越多。原料肉由直接上市场逐步向初加工的冷却肉和切片小包装发展;由粗加工单一的肉制品逐步转向精加工的多品种、多风味和多档次的产品结构;由家庭消费为主逐步向方便快捷的休闲、旅游消费等发展;由以传统节日消费为主,逐步呈现以日常生活消费为主的趋势。

48、为此,引进先进的屠宰技术及设备,生产具有安全卫生、肉嫩味美、便于切割的冷却肉,是适应当今肉类消费需求变化的重要举措。(2)有利于变资源优势为效益优势,促进畜牧产业的优化升级XX市生猪业近几年来得到各级政府的高度重视,强化了政策、资金的引导、扶持力度,加上亚热带海洋性季风气候和紧靠广东、港台等边贸区优势,养猪业得以长足发展。生猪出栏已由95年的165.5万头提高到2003年的407万头,平均年增加近30万头,养猪业现代化水平有了较大提高,规模化、集约化养猪发展迅速,全市规模化养殖专业户4536户,其中年出栏千头以上规模场104个,万头以上6个。瘦肉型猪推广面积达50%,其中XX区达90%,XX区

49、年出栏生猪达125万头,具备了“大基地、高商品化”发展的基础。本项目的建设,将通过产业龙头带动千家万户养猪户参与市场竞争,以市场引导养猪户规范高效养猪,通过品牌、科技及环保战略,化XX生猪资源优势为效益优势,以促进畜牧产业的优化升级,提高农民的经济收入。(3)有利于促进XX畜牧业参与国际竞争随着我国加入WTO后,我国农产品参与国际竞争日益加剧。而畜产品的生产和加工属于劳动密集型产业,我国具有一定的国际竞争优势。但由于贸易壁垒以及畜产品的质量和卫生标准要求较高等原因,我国在国际肉类市场上始终未能占有较大份额。本项目将通过引进国外先进的加工技术及设备,以促进XX的畜肉制品加工技术与国际接轨,并通过加工XX优质农产品无公害瘦肉型猪,逐步营造XX肉类产品的绿色产业链,使XX畜产品在技术水平、质量标准等方面与国际接轨,促进XX畜牧业参与国际竞争。二、项目概况1、拟建
