The aim is to enable us to obtain good quality bespoke tools having a high probability of satisfying the required duty. The individual points have been introduced gradually over a long period of time, as needs dictated. Should errors or possible improvements be seen we would be most grateful if these could be pointed out. 这个条款是为了说明一般模具要求,成交条件,模具结构等; 目的是为了确保我们了解双方的需求,提供高质量的模具; 因为写了很久了,如果有需要改正的地方,请提出。 Neither these requirements nor information contained within the Tooling Enquiry, form 52, absolve the toolmaker from supplying a tool that functions satisfactorily. 不管是这里的说明,还是模具报价上的要求,都需要另客户满意 *Our definition for this is that the tool should be able to accept the force of the plastic without deforming under the load., nor failure of any description for the number of shots specified in the applicable tool enquiry. The moulding should be able to be ejected as soon as the material has solidified to the point where the moulding would not distort due to the presence of latent heat; i.e., it shouldn’t be necessary for the moulding to cool so much that an area with insufficient ejection relies on being pulled out by it’s mechanical attachment to an adjacent surface. This is necessary so that we can operate competitively, (generating work for toolmakers as well). 产品必须是在客户要求的公差内,产品的表面等等都必须是客户确认OK的 CONTRACTUAL CONDITIONS 合作条件 When invited to tender for work (either new, modification or repair) your quotation should be written and include a) price, b) delivery, and c) Tooling Enquiry No. Following receipt of an order please observe the following:- 价格&交期&模具报价编号 A) Acknowledge, within one week, receipt of order by returning the 'Tool Manufacturing Planning Sheet' by fax, if it has been provided to you. The sheet must show planned time scale for design and manufacture. Time allowances for customer must be included and they are: 收到PO之后一周之内需要提供进度计划表,用于客户评估生产 a) half a week for 'Concept approval' 半周时间用于设计理念的确认 b) half a week for ' Tool design check' 半周时间用于模图设计的确认 c) One week for 'Tool sampling. 1周的时间用于模具打样 B) Submit written tool concept proposals. C) Await concept approval before proceeding. D) Provide Tool general arrangement drawing. Please show tie bar positions. 提供模具设计理念的时候需要提供哥林柱的尺寸和位置 E) Where required, respond in writing to the 'Drawing Check sheet' and re-submit revised drawing. Await drawing approval before proceeding. Supply two (2) copies of final drawing. Should tool require modification as a result of component design or tool fuction, further up-dated drawings are to be issued. F) Manufacture Tool. An updated 'Tool Manufacturing Planning Sheet' must be sent, by fax, to us each week. If a delay in delivery of tool is anticipated an explanation on headed paper must be sent by fax. 进度表必须按时提供,如果有延迟提交必须给到合理的解释,否则客户会追究责任 G) Tick boxes and return enclosed Pre-delivery Check Sheet form to us. H) Await our approval for delivery. J) Deliver and submit written invoice quoting order number and our tool number. 运输模具的时候需要标记报价编号以及客户的模具编号 Sampling: We will cover the cost of sampling for 3 attempts + however many attempts have been costed in for the purposes of size adjustment or unusual tool function development. For sampling attempts beyond this point we will require that the toolmaker covers the cost of sampling at the rate of £120 per attempt. This will be debited from his third 1/3 or last payment. 报价需要包括3次寄样费用 Delivery Date : Unless otherwise stated a given delivery date will be assumed to be calculated from receipt of our order or letter of authority. 除非有特别的说明,否则运输的时间必须要根据最开始报价的时候严格进行 Tool Transporting : Quotations, whether for new tools, for modifications to existing tools or repairs, should allow for cost of transportation. Whilst we will endeavour to assist where our transport coincides, the toolmaker is responsible for the cost of all journeys until the tool is proven. If the toolmaker cannot provide transport within 24 hrs, (or a lesser period if urgent), we reserve the right to make this arrangment ourselves & pass the cost on to the toolmaker, as above under ‘Sampling’. 不管模具维修等等都是需要供应商支付运输费用GENERAL REQUIREMENTS FOR TOOL MANUFACTURE 模具基本要求Page : 3 of 10 *Payment : 付款条件 Unless otherwise agreed we will pay in three 1/3 stages thus: 1st, 40%- To be paid on receipt of Tool Manufacture Planning Sheet (form 246) and toolmaker’s invoice. 2nd, 30% -To be paid when tool produces satisfactory parts & conforms to Abaloid Plastics' requirements. 3rd, 30%:- To be paid 30 days from 2nd 1/3 *Note : Should the second payment be paid early the third will be paid 30 days from when the second should have been paid. Unless financially unable, we will not await incoming payment from our customer before making our payments. TOOL DRAWINGS 模图设计 A general arrangement drawing is to be approved before steel is cut. This should contain all data relating to the fitting of the tool to the agreed machine(s) including the required opening and ejection strokes, plus tie bar positions, plus a description of the tool function if other than open and close; ie hydraulic core pulling sequence, multi stage ejection, tool breathing etc. The tool concept must be agreed before any chargeable draughting work commences. Subsequent to the G.A. drg. approval full drgs. to be sent, including a parts list. All drgs. to show the following information : Tool number; part description; component drawing and part number and issue; number of sheets in drawing set; date drawn; toolmaker (company name); draughtsman (company name). Ensure that the person designing the tool is aware of all of our requirements specified in these 'General Requirements', on our tooling enquiry and on our written order. Ejector pin sizes and positions to be marked up, likewise feeds and feed systems. 3 copies of tool drawings are required at all stages of design. If tool design is on disk a copy of file in IGES or DXF to be supplied. 开始加工前的确认需要包括,这个需要确保所有的模具信息都需要同客户的注塑机相匹配,需要提供IGES和DXF的图纸,并且需要提供3个副本 GENERAL MANUFACTURING REQUIREMENTS & CONDITIONS 开工要求和条件 A) No aspect of tool requirements or machine fitting details to be changed from that specified or indicated by component drawing, platen layout drawing, 'General Requirements' sheet or job 'Tooling Enquiry' unless confirmed in writing. B) It is normally required that tools should produce satisfactory parts when moulded under the correct conditions as specified by the material manufacturer. This means that tools must suit the moulding process rather than that the moulding process be altered to suit a 'difficult' tool. 是要模具适用于任何注塑参数,而不是注塑参数来适应模具,即要确保模具的质量 C) All electrodes, patterns, models, templates etc. to be kept for a minimum period of 5 years or delivered to us for storage. 所有的铜工,零部件等等都必须至少保持5年,以方便后续需要修改模具 D) Receipt of your quotation will be interpreted as indicating tentative feasibility for a tool to be made to produce a part to the drawing or sample supplied. E) Receipt of the invoice for the first third of the cost of a tool will be interpreted as indicating feasibility for the tool to be made and the ability of your company to make it. Component Draw Taper Of Moulded Part Customer to be advised if requirements of draw taper for the purpose of tool function conflict with component tolerance. Customer to be advised if drawing tolerances prevent the application of the minimum acceptable amount of release taper necessary to prevent distortion & or scuffing. 如果需要改善产品需要同客户提出建议并确认 Surface Finish A) When a spark eroded or textured surface finish is specified the specification relates to the surface finish of the moulding produced from the tool, and not the surface finish of the tool cavity/core it's self.如果表面有要求也是要表面要求尽可能的好 B) When the cost of a surface finish such as texturing cannot be quoted, the approximate price is to be advised, & the cost of transportation covered within the tool price. C) If the surface finish specified is likely to cause a tool malfunction by effectively forming an under-cut, whereby mouldings will stick in, not eject squarely, scuff or show ejector marks on top surface due to excess force needed to push part out of mould, we expect the toolmaker to: point this out at the design stage, or correct it without further charge after sampling. GENERAL REQUIREMENTS FOR TOOL MANUFACTURE 模具加工要求 Page : 4 of 10 Tool Safety A tool can be said to be safe if during it's normal movements no part can collide with another; i.e. ejectors whether in or out cannot strike side cores and vice versa. This means that one component cannot be placed within the flight path of another, regardless of any circumstance. This condition will be asked to be declared on the tool drawing check sheet. Tools With Interchangeable Cores 如果是互换镶嵌的模具,需要明确的在打包模具的盒子上标记模具的详细编码,例如模具编码一 or 模具编码二 Sets of interchangeable cores are to be supplied in robust protective boxes clearly marked with tool description & tool number. Such boxes may be obtained from Farnells or R.S Components. SPECIFIC MANUFACTURING REQUIREMENTS 1) TOOL FITTING 模具的飞模要求很严格 Tools should be so designed that no component needs to be removed for fitting to the moulding machine, or removed afterwards for storage. Tools should stand on the opposite face to the lifting bar. When the tool has projections from this face pillars must be fitted so that tool can stand without damage to these parts. 2) TOOL COMPONENTS 模具零部件都需要用正品HASCO Where possible all ancillary components used to be proprietary items rather than 'home made' preferably Hasco. 3) CAVITY AND CORES 前后模的钢料以及壁厚等等都必须是要求的规格 A) Steels specified must be fully hardened and tempered, leaving steel to the maximum hardness recommended by the steel supplier or as recommended by the tool designer. Any deviation to be discussed. Steel grade refs. should be marked on cavity & core components by a permanent method. B) Cavity & core inserts are to be self supporting with regard to wall thickness & must not rely on adjacent cavity & cores for support. 4) CAVITY AND CORE SUPPORT PLATES / BACK PLATES 前后模,背板等等的要求,根据客户注塑机信息 A) These to be sufficient in quality and thickness to perform duty required.:- 1) Minimum thickness of cavity and core plates are to be sufficient in quality & thickness to prevent distortion of plates, while under full mould clamping & full injection pressure. 2) Back plates are to be of sufficient quality & thickness to prevent extrusion of plate into location holes of platens under full injection pressure. B) Square area of mating faces of tool to be dimensionally equal about horizontal and vertical centre lines of moulding machine platens. C) If cavity plate is of the 'picture frame' design, ensure that dimensions are sufficient to withstand the side load, imparted by the injection force. D) All tools should have clamp ledges, even if direct bolting or through hole fixing is called for. E) Hot runner tools with pressure pad loading should have support plates of P20 or substantially sized hardened inserts within support plates. 5) EJECTION SYSTEMS 顶出系统 There must be sufficient & appropriately positioned ejection device square area for the part to be ejected out of the mould under normal moulding conditions. See ‘Introduction’ for further details.
