Objectives:

1.Language knowledge:
·Ss can read, recognize and write 26 letters, including small letters and capital letters;
·Ss can recognize printed letters and written letters and write down the correct written letters in homework and formal exercise;
·Ss can read, recognize and write five letters of vowels;
.Ss can remember those letters which have the same sound in pronunciation
·Ss can clearly and correctly write down 26 letters in their correct position in four- lines;
2. Language Skills:
·Ss can fluently recite the 26 letters ;
·Ss can remember five letters of vowels, including small letters and capital letters;
·Ss can clearly speak out those adjacent letters according to T’s questions;
·Ss can orally spell a long word letter by letter

Difficulties Analysis
教学难点分析:
1.Ss are easily influenced by the old version of 26 letters and cannot clearly recognize and remember those new written version of some letters, eg. t
2.There are more letters which have the same sound in pronunciation like B、 C、 D… Ss cannot remember all of them;
3.There is a little bit difference between printed letters and written letters, Ss are easily misunderstand some of them like Yy(printed letter) and Yy(written letter);
4.The number of letters and the unfamiliarity of letters lead Ss cannot fluently spell a long word

Purpose
Activity1: Let’s Sing.
Play a song: A B C Ss sing after the video and quickly reappear 26 letters
Activity 1:
Ss sing after the video and reappear 26 letters in their mind
Ss quickly familiar with 26 letters and it helps to live up the atmosphere
Activity 2:Guessing game
Show the letters cards to Ss, then T quickly take away some letters. Ask Ss to close their eyes, then open and say “What is missing?”
Activity 2:Guessing game
Ss quickly respond which letter is missing and say it loudly.
Test Ss’ responsiveness and their familiarity with letters
Activity 3:Special “6+1”
a. Ask Ss five letters of vowels and then show them in four-lines on the blackboard
b. According to the five letters of vowels, ask Ss to find out their friends who has the same sound in pronunciation
c. Ask some Ss to write down their friends on the blackboard, then show the gesture of Special “6+1“,point to the letters and Ss read it
Activity 3:Special “6+1”
a. Answer questions
b. Write down the letters according to the questions
c. Read the same sound letters loudly
Consolidate five letters of vowels and those same sound letters
Activity 4:Let’s be a teacher
1.Mike is a careless boy, he always makes mistakes on the writing of letters, pls help him to find out the mistakes and correct them. Some are shown according to printed letters and written letters. Eg.: Jj Yy Db X x G g li Ll F f Kk
Show the exercise to Ss and ask them to be a teacher to find out the writing mistakes.
2.Show some spelling of short sentence like Good morning.
Activity 4:Let’s be a teacher
Ss find out the mistakes in the exercise and correct it
Ss can recognize the differences between printed and written version. Then some Ss can realize their mistakes in daily homework and try to correct it later.
Activity 5:Practice oral spelling of words
First T tell Ss who sit in the last row a word we have learned in each group; then the Ss whisper to the former one, whisper one by one with oral spelling the group letters, and then the Ss who sits in the first row to write down the word in blackboard. Check the correct answer.

a. Whisper the word one by one with oral spelling the group letters.
b. Write down the word you hear.
Help Ss to cultivate the consciousness of spelling the group letters to remember the words; Cultivate Ss the spirit of co-operation; review the words we have learned.
