The Book I Like Best
The book I like best is "The Little Prince" because I think I have benefite a lot from reading it. I believe all of you must have heard something about this, right? It was in my primary school that I began to read it. My parents bought me the book as a birthday present. but later I abandoned until last year.I bought a new one.

A Little Prince is a fairy tale.Someone regard it as a book written only for children.However ,when you read this book at different age, you will have different feelings toward the book. The author made us find our lost naivety. When we got lost in the real world, maybe it is a good way to get some relief by reading this book.It reminds us a truth:we are young,or at least we were young.

This book is definitely a great one.so far I have read it five times.It is my favorite book!

My Favourite Food
My favourite food is the Peking Duck. It is a famous dish and a lot of international personalities have tried it before. The duck is charcoal roasted till its skin is crispy and brown. One bite into the meat and you can taste the juicy and tender flesh wrapped in the crispy skin. It is eaten with a thin slice of pancake and cucumber and leek. But some people don't like the taste of leek so you can don't add that. Finally you have to add in the sweet sauce so that the pancake will have some taste. It's always a delight to savour Peking Duck.

How to Overcome Difficulties in My English Studies
A lot of people like English. As the society advances, it is very important for us to learn English well. In fact, It is not very difficult to learn English well. In my spare time, I often listen to English programs in the radio or watch programs on TV. It’s an efficient way to improve my ability of listening comprehension. I also love to read English novels or magazines. It’s a good way to build up my vocabulary. My favorite English magazine is English Pictorial. It’s very helpful for us middle school students. It widens my scope of knowledge. In addition, I practice speaking English with my teacher and my classmates every day. I also persist in keeping a diary in English .Sometimes, I think that it’s a bit difficult for me to learn English well, but I never give up. I just work hard on it.

Self-study
Self-study is a good way of improving our knowledge of things. Some of the great scientists and lecturer couldn't afford to go to school so they just studied at home without anybody's help. Sometimes self-study could be more affective then going to schools and listen to teachers telling you what to do, but sometimes it will be better to learn in schools to furtherly knowing whats going on.

Which Means of Transportation do You Prefer?

Personally speaking, I prefer travelling methods that are both environmental and beneficial to me as well. The best example of my favourite type of transportation is bicycles. They do not use fossil fuel, and are therefore emission-friendly. They do not release any harmful chemicals to pollute the environment either, which is very good. Riding bicycles can also be very beneficial to my body. It is a good exercise that can improve the strength of my lungs and my heart. It also tones the muscles of my lower body, making me look fitter. Bicycles are also very economical: most families can afford one for each member. It is also fun to ride out with your family. But when the distance of travel grows longer, I would generally select public transport such as the bus or private cars.

Rolling a small snow ball and then after a while, it became a big ball. My friends and I put the big ball on a pile of snow as the snowman’s head. We put off our scarf on the snowman’s neck to keep snowman warm. Though it looks like stupid, we still enjoyed the happiness that snow brought to me.(100 words)

Changes in My Life

There have been many changes in my life. With the development of the economy my life is better off. For the clothing I have spare money to buy sorts of pretty clothes. But in the past there were fewer clothes in my wardrobe. For the food I usually had traditional Chinese food for every meal rice noodles or streamed ban with one or two light dishes even preserved pickles. Nowadays I can afford any delicious food including western foods. For the housing I have moved from a cramped and gloomy room to a big and bright flat. For the getting around I rode an old bike on my way to work a year ago. At present I drive my private car to travel. I believe my life will be better and better in the future.
