述高中喜欢的一位老师。

        在part 2部分，考官会要求考生就某个话题做一段个人描述，时间为1到2分钟。在这么短的时间内，

如何能快速的组织出有条理的答题逻辑，并在紧张的环境下，用准确地道的语言表达出来，对于很多考生来
讲，是很有难度的。

种类型：（1）描述一个人；（2）描述一个地方；（3）描述一件物品；（4）描述一件事情。就以上

       对于“描述一个人”这样的话题，应该是怎么样的答题逻辑呢？

•Stage 1: Say who they are and how you know them
•Stage 2: Say what they are like and what they do
•Stage 3: Say what they have achieved and how they have influenced you
•Stage 4: Say why they are special and how you feel about them

现在就Stage 1和Stage 2来举例说明一下。

Stage 1:
Say who they are and how you know them

Interviewer: Tell me about a person who looked after you as a child?
Sophia: I would like to talk about my grandmother. When I was a child my parents were

very busy and so my grandmother, who is my father’s mother, had to look after me.

Stage 2:
Say what they are like and what they do

Sophia:My grandmother is a very gentle and kind woman. Her hair – as far back as I can

remember – has always been a brilliant white but she is quite self-conscious about this

and wears a shoulder-length wig to hide it. Gran is really short, probably about 4 foot

something, but she seems even shorter because she has a permanent stoop. When I think of

my grandmother’s appearance, the thing which stands out most is her constantly smiling

face – she has a very kind face, which is covered in wrinkles.

1. Use words for relatives, occupations and social positions correctly. (My grandfather

was a good man because…” / “A family friend once told me…”)

2. Use relative clauses with ‘who’ correctly. (“David, who was my best friend at

school, often played football in the local park.”)

3. Use the past continuous and past simple to say how you met someone. (“When I was

studying at university, my teacher told me…”)
