Shanghai , the first big city in China contains economic、 financial、 trade and shipping centers. She is located in China's coastline of the Yangtze estuary, there are more than 2000 million people live in Shanghai.Shanghai is an emerging tourist destination, have deep modern urban culture and numerous historical sites. Now, Shanghai has developed into a glaring global international metropolis in 2020, and is devoted to the construction as an international financial centre and shipping centers.

The reason of why put Shanghainese into one of the top 10 Shanghai culture is its a symbol of Shanghai.It merge into a new kinds of language on the basic of Suzhou and ningbo, In the 1930s, it is the golden age of Shanghainese. Similar situations like hongkong, Shanghai writers free translation or transliteration many English new words written into books, and then be absorbed in mandarin. After it turned upside down in the time river,many terse and lively words appear.Nowadays Shanghainese has followed from Shanghai footprint not only spread around the country but also may be heard all over the world ,it be known as the civilization of Shanghai.

I think one point can be entirely sure is the fashionable sex of it. Shanghai cheongsam embodies abundant colorful city life,the style and colour fully come into the social life. It represents a mature and development of Shanghai, it like a city's lights, kept flashing, attracting countless people to share the beauty of it.
PaoFan plain boiled water for breakfast is another Shanghai people’s life habits. If you see a person in Shanghai eating yesterday'srice with boiled water brew of it in the morning , please don't laugh at, this is from Shanghai most local characteristics of breakfast. In Shanghai, "swing the road" is a usual activity for people after work, weekend, weekends and holidays ,it's most popular for Shanghai people in our pastimes. If you're a young guy ,and a beautiful young Shanghai girl meet you to swing the road, be careful! She may be in love with you.
Like hongkong people love Afternoon tea at 4 p.m,Going to have morning tea in a Chinese restaurant with the family on Sundays,Going to concerts,Betting on horses,Going to the beach,it's the pleasures of life in ShangHai.
Every Shanghai people must play the Alley game! It created a lot of match well of Chinese and western elegant appearance.Shanghai not copy foreign architectural form attached, it's a pursue practical, effective urban growth process results. This kind of causality can explain the reason of Shanghai building character, the city spirit was essentially a reflection.
Shanghaiopera also has a special meaning in Shanghai. The representative of Shanghaiopera is popular in Shanghai. This is the most popular "three things for people".
The last one is the hospitality. When we have a guest, master usually put out many fruit for guest to eat after dinner, and when guests leave, master generally will send them out of alley. Shanghai people are polite, when visiting other families we will bring fruit and gifts for others.
